5.0 out of 5 starsThis is one of the tomes, everyone must read to ruminate deeply about himself and the message distilled herein by the late Great Victorian author, James Allen. It's a compendium one has to have. No gimmicks, the author highlighted a series of disciplines behind the recent studies including what psychologist are referring to as psychosomatics. He lucidly stated that a man is manacled by his thoughts. What a man harbours in his mind, are the creators of his circumstances. He really strikes me hard with an analogy which really makes it painstakingly clear to the novice and the talisman. If I can paraphrase slightly what he made clear with that analogy,“ A man's mind is comparable to a garden if left uncultivated, it flourishes with weeds and can continue to produce their kind, and if cultivated it blossoms.” It's a succinct fact which cannot be understood with easy without any crankiness in one's mind. If I am to disagree with bold, bear, beautiful truth herein, it will be an insult to the late victorian author. It will be undermining my integrity. He gave us a clear daily blueprint to guide ourselves from what I think we should call the “mental terrorism.” I kind of like it when he said if you want to develop yourself guide your thoughts, which is the only thing we have total control over, in our entire lives. He really nailed it and I think one can find this doctrine one of the most pleasurable, and simultaneously treasurable and educative. It challenges your status quo and gives the impetus to elicit tranquil thoughts and brings with it calmness, poise and serenity.
He kind of nailed it to the core, because he canvased the entirety, young and old, teenagers and adults without any age limitations.Read more
