Ash:Like a Tattoo is a unique and intriguing story. It centers around a family wholost their special needs son when he committed suicide. But the book is aboutso much more than that. It's a refreshing mix of drama, the paranormal andhumor, as well the effect bullying has on a person, his family and thecommunity.
Asan author of a paranormal novel about the afterlife, I especially enjoyed thataspect of the book. Things aren't always as they seem, and there are definitelya few surprises in Ash: Like a Tattoo! I loved how Ashton's sister approachedlife with an open mind and heart and helped her family see things from adifferent perspective.
Irecommend this book to anyone who has an interest in the paranormal, has beenaffected by bullying or just enjoys a good story about the ties that bind us.Well done!

Wowjust wow. Dan this book has you hit every emotion possible. I can relate all towell to the bullying not just for me but for my girls too. The emotions thefamily goes through you feel them within you. Very very well written. The mainfamily in this book you bring the readers in and you can see yourself as themand all they go through. I loved the factory part and it really made me smilehow much of a positive light you put on the ones there, especially because ofmy Brooke. Thank you so much for this story. So many everyday go through someof these exact things everyday and nothing ever done to make it right. You myfriend have given the scared and voiceless a voice. My dream is one daybullying is no more. Just because someone is different gives no one the rightto treat them badly. You've made victims heroes. Thank you from the bottom ofthis moms heart.

Thisbook had twist after turn, and yet it flowed seamlessly. I read a lot, sotypically see plot twists coming...and didn't see what was coming next! Danbrought so much variety to the book (manufacturing, art, nature, poetry, schoolissues, bullying, gypsies, computer scans, etc) yet it never felt cluttered oroverful. An excellent read from cover to cover. I was interested into the lastpage and am looking forward to Megan's next NaNoWriMo book. ;)
