This was a great romance. So sexy and sweet, and easy and a lot of fun to read. Really enjoyed this whole opposites-attracting trope, too. Opposites in many ways but they are so made for each other. Brent's a blue-collar guy, a cop. Hayden's a wealthy heiress. She lives in Manhattan while he lives in Queens. She thinks he's rough around the edges, and he thinks she's a spoiled ice princess. This was just good stuff waiting to happen! I loved their verbal foreplay, how they needled each other, trading barbs, antagonizing each other, making me wait for that time they put that sexual chemistry to work and got down and dirty.

The sex was really hot. Nothing better than enemies becoming lovers in my book. Bickering one moment, then ripping clothes off the next. I also loved how they both wanted to be in control. Brent is definitely all male, a 6'5 'muscle-man fortress', but he had no problem letting Hayden get her groove on and tie him down, teasing him and winding him up, making him wait for it. And I loved how Hayden would let Brent be in charge, too, enjoying when he'd grab a fistful of her hair and pull, covering her with that big, brawny body of his, making her say who was doing it for her, doing it to her. Him, and only him. That was a really hot scene! These two were damn good together.

Not a lot of complication in this romance. The conflict isn't major, just enough to cause a bit of friction, and I really enjoyed it for that reason. I wanted light angst, nothing upsetting, and I wanted a sweet, sexy romance with a big cop hero making his uptown girl fall hard for him. I really liked Hayden, but I loved Brent. Tessa Bailey writes a great hero: all sexy, hot alpha-male goodness balanced with a sweet, big heart. I love those men who are macho manly-men unafraid to show their vulnerable side. That's a complete man, a real man, and makes for the best hero to fall in love with. A great hero, sweet and very sexy, and a romance that's just as sweet and hot.

I was waiting for this book after reading the other works of Tessa Bailey and it was worth the wait. The layers in Brent and Hayden's character are amazing. The hotness quotient is undoubtedly there. The banter is sooo enjoyable. It was good to see Troy, Ruby, Daniel and Story too. I am eagerly awaiting Matt's story. Thank you, TB. You are awesome.

So, Tessa Bailey is pretty much the queen of dirty talking heroes and damn she did it again with Asking for Trouble. This one was fun, sexy, and all kinds of make-a-girl-go-weak-in-the-knees naughty goodness as enemies Brent and Hayden discover that all that fire between them can lead to some damn good times.

I really enjoyed Brent and Hayden. These two are passionate about hating each other. They bicker, throw barbs, tease and make it their life mission to zing the hell out of each other last. They had me rolling over their antics with each other. And all that passion, whew, it definitely transfers into the bedroom when they just can't stop one upping each other and neither's willing to back down from the challenge of a nekkid, sweaty, down and dirty night together.

Okay, so, the sex scenes were just smoking hot and sexy as hell. He's a total dirty talker, all alpha male and serious as sin about pleasing Hayden even if that means he's on the receiving end of a pair of cuffs and taking orders. I loved he was willing to let her be in charge some of the time and that she was definitely into taking on that role. Very hot. Whew!

Brent and Hayden had some big issues between them--a lot dealing with the difference in their social standing. He's a gruff, crude, cop and her family is really well off and she's a "princess". Which on the surface yeah could totally be the case but man these two were so much more than they initially thought of each other. I liked the differences between them--even though his continued grumbles and pokes about her finances wore on me for personal reasons-- and loved that as things went along all of their preconceived notions about each other shattered and they really started to see below the surface to the amazing people they were.

I don't think there is a book that Tessa Bailey has written that I have not loved and this one is no exception. I found it hard to put down. It was so good. I love that Tessa is able to create characters that I love and they always have such great chemistry together.

Hayden and Brent were great and OMG are these two hot together. What I loved most is that they started as enemies. I'm a big fan of enemies to lovers storylines as I love banter between characters. You could really feel the animosity between these two. It was great to watch them realize their feelings and come together.

I also enjoyed seeing Story and Daniel again and seeing their story progress. I also can't wait to see what in-store in Matt's story. That one looks to be really promising. I love me a strong silent type. =)

Seriously, if you aren't reading Tessa Bailey, you are definitely missing out. Her books are hot and filled with drool-worthy heroes. Seriously, I would drop my panties for them any day.
