From the Manufacturer
Bluff, guess and win. Late 19th century, London, England, prominent mediums gathered for an historic tournament whose winner will be named the best clairvoyant of the century. Players will incarnate the finalists of this tournament. Their goal is to guess the cards in the hand of their adversaries to estimate how many cards of each category will be shown at the end of the game. But will bluffing, tactical playing and their divinatory powers make better predictions than their competitors? In Divinare, the players play the part of famous mediums who must attempt to divine the cards held by their opponents. In each round, only two-thirds of the cards — representing the four divination methods of chiromancy, crystallomancy, tasseomancy and astromancy — are dealt out, and are then revealed little-by-little, giving the players the possibility of narrowing their predictions. A good prediction will allow the players to win points, but guess wrong and you may be forced to take a penalty. The player with the most points after a set number of rounds wins.

Top Customer Reviews
The game is very easy to teach (3-5 mins, with a demo of how a round works) and once players play through a single round, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the game; everyone will want to keep going cos it just gets more fun as you get the hang of it.
There is some player interaction with the passing of cards (hiding information and/or forcing others to shift their predictions) and you will get a couple of laughs when players receive their cards from one another.
Components are of high quality and the artwork is beautiful IMHO. The theme does not add much to the game as we are just fascinated by the cleverness of this little game.
The only minor issue (just to nitpick) I have with the game is scoring with the tiny gem tokens is a little fiddly.
From the tea leaves in my cup, and my crystal ball, I foresee... that you will add this to your cart now and thank me later. :)
The components are fantastic and the rules clearly written. The only downside is that the box, while sturdy, is much too large for its contents.
