Soon after an 8 year-education in a one room country school, followed by high school in the Wisconsin Northwoods (while daily milking cows beside a trout stream), David W. Mantik happily escaped these chores and instead opted for a PhD in physics in Madison, Wisconsin. After that he entered a postdoctoral fellowship in biophysics at Stanford, and next signed onto the tenure track physics faculty at Michigan. Several years later, after an MD at Michigan, he moved to USC for his radiation oncology residency, where he was awarded a junior faculty clinical fellowship by the American Cancer Society. After board certification by the American College of Radiology, he joined the medical faculty at Loma Linda University, where he directed the residency training program and treated patients with the newly developed proton beam. He has now been treating cancer patients for over 40 years. He has visited the National Archives on nine different days (no one else comes close), where he took hundreds of measurements from the extant JFK X-rays, examined the autopsy color photographs in stereo, viewed the Magic Bullet, bullet debris, JFK’s clothing, copies of the Zapruder film, and the Secret Service re-enactment films. His thick notebooks encompass three separate volumes, which contain precise locations for all metal debris on the skull X-rays. He has had two telephone conversations with the JFK autopsy radiologist (Ebersole), interviewed numerous JFK autopsy technicians (including multiple conversations with Jerrol Custer and James Jenkins), and has met several of the Parkland doctors (McClelland, Crenshaw, Jones), as well as one of the FBI note-takers at the autopsy (Sibert). He has now studied the medical, forensic, and eyewitness evidence in this case for over 30 years. His work may be followed at themantikview.org and at KennedysandKing.

My exposure to the assassination of JFK began as a student sent home from an English class lecture on Henry David Thoreau to watch another triple-named man's assassination before sixty Dallas police officers.The presidential commission relied upon a military autopsy with unprecedented anomalies, successive reports with initial efforts burned, x-ray films demonstrably false, photographs contradicting dozens of professional medical witnesses.The record was corrupted, but it would be six decades of doubt and speculation before this thorough scientific correction. The finality of this ultimate analysis is worth the wait.Dr. David Mantik, a radiologist with physics doctorate, has demonstrated through the optical density tool of his profession that the president was hit by three head shots: occipital, right forehead, right temple.Extraordinary claims backed by extraordinary research, nine visits to the Archives, thousands of individual optical density measurements of the extant frontal (AP) and side (lateral) x-rays showing a fabricated 6.5 mm artifact not noted by the autopsists (Humes, Boswell, Fincke) or the original radiologist (Ebersole).Evidence of a forehead entry is seen in the skull and the particle stream, a stream which is separate from the occipital and temporal wounds. Dr Mantik has, IMO, the last word on the coverup of JFK's assassination & autopsy. No one is more qualified than he to make sense of this disasterous tragedy. His style of writing is easy to follow, & I couldn't put this book down. It's chock-full of photos, diagrams, xrays, graphs, & footnotes, plus an incredible bibliography. The only part of the book I found difficult to follow was Dr Mantik's reports of his optical density experiments, which I skimmed over.

JFK had he survived, would have eliminated the CIA and kept us out of Vietnam. There were three shots, two from the front, and one from the back, all at street level with minimal height. What inspired me to read this book was a short synopsis from Dr Mantik of his 3 shots to JFK's head thesis conclusion in the book KILLING KENNEDY by Jack Roth. Sometimes a brief explanation of a complicated event, especially as in this case with all the technical medical facts, serves the purpose more proficiently.

I remember shortly after the turn of the century I made a trip to Dallas and met the late Jack White who conducted the "Moorman in the Street" experiments to show that the Zapruder Film had been altered. My first two thoughts were I was not going to get a measurement that would benefit Jack's thesis, and why didn't Jack settle the matter with surveyors' equipment.

Jim Fetzer's book on the Zapruder Film THE GREAT ZAPRUDER FILM HOAX quelled both of my concerns when I saw David Mantik and Jim Fetzer used surveyor's equipment and had obtained a measurement of 42" for the distance of the Mary's camera eye to the ground (I had obtained 41.5"). My thoughts with their verification were that this proves Jack's contention that there was Z film alteration, but not too many people will understand what Jack was doing. About 10 years later when I viewed a video "The Zapruder Film Mystery", I knew beyond a shadow of doubt that the Z film had been altered. Horne expands on his findings with his interview of Dino Brugioni to show even Hollywood film producers agreed. We must also remember this evidence from Brugioni was first presented in Peter Janney's excellent book MARY'S MOSAIC.

The research community owes David Mantik, Jerome Corsi, and Douglas Horne a ton of gratitude for their indefatigable efforts in shining a light on the true facts of this case as given in this masterpiece. One area I believe needs much more attention is who, when, and where the post mortem surgery done on JFK's head was done. A friend of mine, Tim Fleming, wrote a book JFK AND THE END OF AMERICA IN 2018 that focused on a mortician (John Liggett) who was featured in one of the final "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" episodes. He was able to do interviews with Liggett's stepdaughter who was interviewed in this same episode. Fleming speculates that the postmortem surgery could have possibly have been done as early as when JFK's body was still at Parkland Hospital. Anyway, I suspect research will long be going on at the time of my expiration date. Thanks again, Dr Mantik and Dr. Corsi for your tireless efforts.

Almost every year new titles and documentaries come out about the assassination of President Kennedy. There usually is a new twist presented, suggesting various possible culprits behind the assassination. The Final Analysis comprehensively covers much of what I have already read in other books, as well as a fair amount of additional material, pictures and many X-rays to consider that have not been available in other publications. The bottom line for me is the X-rays clearly show there had to be more than one shooter, and one would have to believe in fairy tales to believe in the 'magic bullet' nonsense. Without a doubt, there was and remains a massive cover up. Will the pubic ever definitively know who actually shot and was behind the killing of President Kennedy? I hope so. Even if you have read umpteen books on the assassination, if this is a subject that interests you, I recommend The Final Analysis. This book is not a fast read, but it will hold your interest to the very last page.

Purchased the hard cover version for $50.00 plus so expected a wow factor, expected full page gloss photographs, especially the radiographs and would have expected illustrations such as as arrows or areas boxed in to be in colour.
