Very few graphical glitches noticed. Not the best looking game this gen, but still very good. Music is excellent. Voice acting is the best in any AC game at it’s time.
My ONLY complaint, is that you’re not really an Assassin in this game.....sort of a friend to the Assassins.
As for the game, I've played all of the AC games to date, and completed all but the very first. I've never been fond of the franchises story, but the gameplay is fantastic and the story can virtually be ignored when focused on the quests, especially after the single-player campaign has completed and you're left to roam the open seas in search of plunder and buried treasure. And if you're in Pirates of the Caribbean withdraw, while waiting for the next sequel or if you like the concept of playing an open world game as a romanticized old-world pirate, this is the best I've come across.
Pros: Amazing graphics, simple, straight forward story, likable protagonist, great naval battles. Did I mention AMAZING graphics?
Cons: Familiar missions, fight mechanics (may not necessarily be a con, but no original content here)

To be able to upgrade your own pirate ship, tonnes of battles, hunting and skinning for the new ability to craft, fast travel implementation, the realism of the storms, weather changes, numerous side quests and tonnes of collectibles, its outrageous, i have already dived out of a couple days of work to stay at home and game out. (You can even wrestle crocodiles)
Being a fan of Port Royale and certainly fascinated with Piracy and of course thoroughly enjoying Disney's series Pirates of the Carribean, to make the real first all out Piracy RPG as authentic as possible, its fantastic, and has brought a new addiction to the new gen console. When you have completely found all the fragments, secrets, manuscripts, collectibles, your areas will turn gold, you have plenty more places to hide to be unseen, multiple weapons, outfits, your own fleet to command (instead of Assasins as per brotherhood's that you would send on missions), you regen health instead of having to use medicine or potions. The fast travel made the game all that much more travel friendly, countless ships and cargo to sink and warehouses to plunder, whale hunting Moby Dick style the, opportunities and gameplay are endless. You even get your own private island to upgrade and build.
There are a couple things i do have say that are negative, as with any vast worlds such as GTA5, there are spots where you can get stuck, be weary of gaps between walls and scaffolds (there are 3 in Nassau, 2 spots in Kingston i know of for sure) and the palm leave piles (like haystacks) sometimes the game will freeze, in a crouch and or getting wedged. All your time vested to these "glitches" will be all for. Minor details surrounding the mission intros and close up discussions, especially being a rum drinking Pirate, you dont yet see any liquid coming out of the bottles and into the characters mouth, Ubisoft hasnt quite mastered that blending sequence of any eating or drinking to appear seemless to the graphic environment, of which although minor drives me nutz. Another issue i have is the Guards, although you can assinate one within view of another, they do not get alarmed, if there was a setting to increase this difficulty it would make the gaming experience more realistic, and challenging.
Essentially they do make a poor attempt to tie in Desmond from the prequels, and it does open up the thoughts of how sequels can be implemented based on where you are employed in the main screen outside the memory of Edward. Its easy to see where the potential lies in Ubisoft.
The multiplayer has some work to do, it is not easy and the concept is certainly unique, however with too many "look-alikes" and starting with few tactics, it makes it frustrating. Although i am not a normal online multiplayer gamer, it could be enjoyable if they limited the similar characters through the maps, even though "assasins" are supposed to practice discretion and stealth.
All said and done I would say this is my alltime new favorite game, the replays value is worth its weight in gold.
