WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:
A world-famous detective tries to get a little rest on his vacation...no such luck! His down time is spoiled by murder and mayhem at the resort he's staying at. Exotic locales and colorful characters add spice to the story. An enjoyable read with mystery and plot twists to keep you going to the end! PocoLoco, Whidbey Island, WA (Posted on Amazon.)
This is a delightful mystery with a likeable set of characters. I enjoy Columbo, Murder She Wrote and Poirot shows on television. The characters and themes of this book fit rather well in that grouping...perhaps throw in some Rockford Files for the main character's easy-going nature and his ability to deal and handle the rest of the cast. Enjoyable read. I have already purchased two other books by this author: Spymaster: "Wild Bill" Donovan, Father of the CIA and Julius Caesar: A Brief Biography. J.Kirkham, Midwest (Posted on Amazon.)
Sig Rosenblum's "Assignment in Antibua" was a true pleasure from beginning to end.
The author has crafted a breezy, fun to read murder mystery. The main character--a New York City Police Lieutenant named Bert Feld--is one of the most likeable fellows I have come across in recent memory. I very much enjoyed the time I spent with Mr. Feld in Antibua.
With great dialogue, a wonderful setting, and a memorable cast of characters, "Assignment in Antibua" is one assignment I highly recommend." CS (Posted on Amazon.)
