Blaire is a college junior trying to pass her Stats class. Wes is the senior star basketball player that is somehow acing the class even while sleeping through it. She needs his helps. He doesn’t have time, but her optimism, positivity and genuine sweet nature win him over and make fans out of his friends, too. It doesn’t hurt that they’re both insanely gorgeous.
There are a lot of layers to this story, some of which I hadn’t read before. I’m now invested in knowing off of their stories and I’m looking forward to finishing the series!
I am not sure what I was expecting with my first book by this author but I was blown away. I absolutely loved this book. Both Wes and Blair were guilty of judging a book by its cover but once they got to know each other they realized that they were both completely wrong and actually really liked each other inside and out. These two were so much fun - I loved their interactions and watching their feelings develop even if they were both hiding it from the other. When everything went sideways I felt so bad for Wes. I just wanted to hug him so bad but at the same punch him in the basketballs. He was such an idiot but I absolutely understood what he was feeling - still a dang idiot though. And I loved how Blair broke down but didn't break and how she stood her ground but at the same time helped Wes overcome his issues. Even if he didn't deserve her help. But that is Blair - heart of gold and wants to help everyone achieve their goals and succeed in life. Loved this book immensely and highly recommend it. I will for sure be devouring more of this author's books. Bless out.
I absolutely fell for this slow burn friends to lovers romance. Hero and heroine had this perfectly played push pull to their friendship in the beginning. They created this playful banter in which was not romance based at all. The slow rotation from friends to romance was so gradual you almost don’t see this switch, but when you look back it was never not going to happen between these two. They were so perfectly written for each other without this overly cheesiness that can often happen in these kinds of books.
I’m so excited to continue this series and see where the other boys go. Their characters are all so different and playful, I already know each story will be a treat.

I have loved every single word of this book and this wonderful audio. Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke just blew me away with their professional, heart-warming, well paced and humorous rendition of this lovely romance. I now want to listen to the rest of this series! 💖💖💖💖💖
