Good quick summary for natural childbirth

Good quick summary for natural childbirth
This is a good quick summary to give to those unfamiliar with natural childbirth. It covers how to choose an assistant coach (doula), preparations, and then a large reference section on birth.

This is the perfect thing for your Assistant Coach! Make sure you read it first, THEN give it to your Assistant Coach, there's specific info you may want to highlight for your AC to fit your specific birth plan! You can also use this Manual for Birth Photographers, Doulas, Grandparents present at birth, Childcare providers for older siblings during birth, and anyone else present at your birth that you plan on having support you in any way. Also a great resource for Doulas studying more birthing methods.

I'm a Bradley instructor, so my review is biased. I think this is a very good manual for expectant parents and doulas alike. It sets clear guidelines and expectations for each participant of the birth.

VERY good, informative source. You will learn everything you need to know about coaching your partner through unmedicated childbirth. Pair with Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way and Dr. Bradley's Husband-Coached Childbirth.

The ISBN must be entered incorrectly in the data base in the sky. Two of these books have I received, neither is spiral wound. Otherwise, great, but spiral wound was the big selling point.

This is a must have for all those who have done Bradley classes and are planning on having an assistant for the coach.

I got this for my mom who was my secondary coach but it really didn't help her understand much, except to help my husband be the coach. While my husband was definitely my primary coach, I wanted my mom to be able to be a full back-up, not just my husband's assistant.
