I mostly use the bigger plastic stitch markers, but for very small projects these are the best option. There's actually more than 450 in the package, which is great for if any of them break (one of the dark blue ones did).

The big problem is staining. I used a silver and a gold stitch markers on this piece and left the project overnight, and in the morning noticed a lot of gray had rubbed off on the yarn around where the silver stitch markers had come in contact with the yarn. No issues with the gold one, just the silver. May not be as much of an issue with darker yarns but it shows up very dark on light yarns. Had to just cut it and start this piece over, and I'm kind of peeved about the waste. Hopefully I won't have this issue with other colors. Will update my review if I do.
