Bought fridge back in July, its stopped working middle of October. We bought Amazon's 5 year warranty (Assurant) and was told that we had to go through the manufacture first.
Long story short, manufacture won't fix!!! Didn't even offer to replace the unit. Canceled my Assurant Warranty (Amazon) and I had to fight with Amazon to get it back.
After two weeks of going back and forth with Costway
Costway still wont fix nor offer to replace the item. On top of that Assurant will not touch the item till the manufacture warranty is done. So I have a product that isn't working still here for another 8 months till I can use my Assurant warranty.

I ordered an ice maker for a Christmas gift. The product was defective and had to be returned. He never used the ice maker, just plugged in and it didn't work. The company no longer had any ice makers for sale and we had to cancel the warranty, and get a refund on the ice maker. The warranty cost was 73.25. The refund for warranty was 65.92. Just a rip off.

I'm of a mixed mindset on this purchase. If it actually pays for the repair or replacement of a broken appliance during the first five years it would be a great value. Other options are 4 to 5 times the cost.

My concern is with the follow up from the company. My understanding is that I would receive an email with all the information about my extended warranty shortly after the appliance was delivered. I didn't. I started sending messages to the company and would get confirmation that they got the message but no email. I chatted with Amazon and that was an exercise in frustration, lots of time and referral to vendor.

Chat with vendor wasn't what I hoped. They confirmed my extended warranty but couldn't email confirmation. Said for some reason their system would not recognize my email. She did give me two numbers to use as a reference if I ever need to place a claim. Hopefully I never need to find out but not feeling confident.

Im sure its a great plan. However when they sign you up for it without your permission for item that was delivered twice broken and had to jump through hoops to get refund only to finally get refund and learn after the refund they bill me for a protection plan that was never authorized. Not cool!!!!

Protection Plan for WHAT???

We bought this protection plan for an appliance we bought through Amazon. We received an email confirming the purchase of the plan, but it does not state what the appliance is. There has been no further communication from the company. Clicking on the link in their email confirmation, you get sent to a page that is the Service Plan dashboard and it informs you that details are missing. It asks for the amount paid for the item and then the model #. So, utterly bizarre. So, I think, they now know what they have contracted to warranty?

I received and tested The Panda. cloths dryer Friday. It was working well. Yesterday I did my laundry after 20 minutes there was a slight sound after an hour a very loud grinding sound was coming out of the unit. I had to turn it off. This is not what I paid for.
