A pain to put together, but looks amazing once installed

I love this ceiling light. Yes, it's a pain to put together, but you just have to do it once. My ceiling is only 8 feet high, so I wanted it more oblong than round. I used the short rods on the top two and bottom two circle of holes, and then filled in the rest with the long rods. I waited to install the long rods until after the light was installed because I installed the ceiling light by myself, and there was no way I could reach around all of those long rods and install the light myself. It works out perfectly the way I did it. Some people mention using a tool to install the rods. I have no idea what they're talking about. Mine just screwed in, and the holes were already the correct size. It was very simple.

I love the way this looks in my powder room. It wasn’t as hard to put together as a lot of people said. It was frustrating to figure out where I should put the long prongs versus the short prongs because the diagram didn’t make sense. So I just counted out the holes and counted out the problems and made a decision. I had someone install it so I had to put together the top half before it was installed and the bottom half after it was installed while I was on the ladder. And it really wasn’t that bad. I didn’t even have the tool that was supposed to come with it and I was able to get it all done.

My husband nicknamed this light “The Urchin of Death.” It was so time consuming to put together. Every spike needs to be put in by hand. It took well over an hour to assemble and the electrician thanked me profusely for not having him do it. It is also more round in shape than the picture portrays. Yes it’s pretty. Would I do it again? NO WAY!

Nice light once installed. Takes a lot of time to put together and its not that easy because the pieces don’t fit great. Kinda of pricey too.

This is a fantastic piece for the price. It’s generally a knock off of a more expensive fixture that I have had my eye on for a while. The instructions are pretty useless, and assembly of all of the metal rods is pretty tedious. But, I just artfully placed them while trying to follow the vague directions. The effect of the fixture when it is hung is exactly what we wanted. It is dramatic without taking up too much visual space because it has such an airy quality. I would absolutely buy again.
