Excellent low-priced inflator

I purchased this gauge as a secondary/backup use inflator for my portable compressor. My primary inflator (Astro 3018 Digital Tire Inflator with Stainless Steel Braided Hose) is a high quality gauge that I leave in the garage for on-site maintenance and will be keeping this one in the truck with my portable for jobs away from home. It's slightly smaller than my Astro 3018, so it's not as bulky to store in the toolbox. This gauge doesn't have as much rubber to protect it from drops (only around the sides and back edges of of the display), but it seems heavy-duty enough with solid metal construction. Had some problems with a leak at the base initially, but simply reapplied Teflon tape (included) for a better seal and all was good. The battery cover is directly accessible on the back making for easy battery (2 AAA included) replacement. The downside is this exposed plastic surface of the battery cover could be vulnerable to damage/loss if you're rough with your tools, but the plastic doesn't feel cheap so I don't see this as a problem for how I store/use my tools. I quickly aired up my lawn tractor tires and found the grip comfortable and easy to use. The display reads bright. Purchased on sale at less than half the price of the Astro 3018, this gauge is fantastic and would serve well as a primary inflator.

Nice little tool

I have used manual gauges for a long time. First just a tire chuck and a separate gauge. Then I upgraded to a inflator with a manual gauge but it was only somewhat accurate, I had to turn it to the correct orientation to see the PSI and then had to hold it on the valve the whole time.

This thing, in comparison, is so awesome. Firstly, it attaches to the valve. That makes it so much easier without having to push down the whole time. It doesn't get a 100% seal every time, but way better than trying to hold it. Second, it has a release valve so you can easily get to the PSI you want. It comes with the quick connect for my hose, a large role of teflon tape and even some valve caps.

The quality seems nice enough for the price. It's heavy, has a rubber outer bumper, easy to read screen and overall seems like it will last a good amount of time.

How do I give this thing 10 stars? It's beautiful, absolutely beautiful! It's almost too pretty to use. It's incredibly solid and well made. This was evidently designed by someone who actually uses one for a living. They thought of everything, right down to the teflon tape to install it on your air hose. I only did a quick test on the tires for my RV but the readings were spot on. It not only looks good, it works good. This is one tool I will never lend to my neighbors. If I do, I'll never see it again. I love this thing.

Made very well

I have a tire inflator from Lowes and it started having a little leak which made it difficult to inflate my work van tire that has been going down. I bought this one because I recently bought an electrical meter from this same brand and it was fantastic with a lot of settings. I went for it and am very pleased.

This is designed with thick metal connection ends and hose that feel better then my previous inflator. It has a a large digital display that lights up and is super easy to read when inflating. It's easy to use since the display shows you when you are loosing pressure. It came with other settings but for me the PSI is the main thing I need it for. I added photos to show how this looked.

I purchased this replace my aging Harbor Freight unit. So far I'm pretty impressed with the quality and accuracy. It gives you multiple pressure options (PSI, BAR, etc), and appears to be every bit as accurate as both of my pressure gauges. It is VERY well constructed, at least the metal portions. Time will tell how long the electronics last, but if they're the same quality as the hardware it should be a winner.

Great digital tire inflator

I got tired with manual gauge because it was somewhat accurate so I decided to give this digital gauge a try. I really like it since it is very well built and easily attached to the valve. It also has a very compact size and light. The measurement was spot on and the display was bright enough to be easily seen. I can also use this to air down tires since it has a button to manually release the air. Very convenient and highly recommended.

This product works great. Up until now had to put air in and then put tire gauge on to see where pressure was at. Then add more air, check again. This product eliminates that need and appears quite accurate when checked against another gauge. The other nice feature is the locking attachment to the tire stem. Once locked on, no need to constantly try to find the sweet spot to put air in.
