Only thing I saw that bugged me was "GPU SAG". This board is super heavy and even with the Maximus VIII Board it was noticeable. You would think ASUS would have done something to address it before production. So I took a wooden dowel and 2 plastic end caps and black spray paint (all from Lowes for under $15) and made a support leg. You hardly notice it in the case and it will keep the sag away forever. Check out the picture I added and see what you think.

This video card is AWESOME!
I could not be more happy.

Now, I am going to start by saying this video card is MASSIVE. I tried to put this into my 6 year old Antec 900 and it did not fit. I was able to bend the side of the case and bend it back to fit it until I could get a new case which I wanted to anyway. So don't ignore the reviews that say how big it is. It is actually massive. There are some pics to show that against other cards.

Onto OC and Performance.
I have looked into peoples overclock averages across a multitude of sites.
My quick compile of about 25 peoples average overclocks on this exact video card (strix) ended up being 1480mhz without too much fuss. Most people didn't mess with voltages from what I saw on forums, reddit, ect... The lowest OC I have seen is 1400 and the highest I have seen on air was 1560. So maybe with more time those averages might be higher but that's what I found.

Mine got to 1527 stable. How kick ass is that! And I got a 79% ASIC quality. But your mileage will vary.

I'm not going over FPS because there are over 100 reviews with FPS results. But I have not run into a single issue at 1080 with hitting 60fps (usually in the 100s) I also use this card to render with Blender Cycles engine and it has helped my 680 along very nicely. Brought my render times down past half what they were.

The build quality is awesome.The backplate looks great (though subjective) and the actual cooler is...big and works very well. I haven't seen anything past 74c under full synthetic load with a slightly aggressive than stock, fan curve.

Could not be more happy with the card and I will be buying a second one soon.

Pros
-Runs everything I throw at it at 144fps easily.
-I can't hear the fans even when in game.
-Sturdy, well built card.

Cons
-Not a fan of the light on it. No customization and doesn't really mesh with my build. For the money I would expect at least that much.
-The majority of the heat pipes are facing the MOBO. They really make the card look awesome so it's too bad I can't see them.

In the end of the day its a video card and as a video card it knocks everything else out of the park. Well deserving of 5 stars.

This card is a beast. It regularly smokes the competition - see any enthusiast website for benchmark data. It even smokes the significantly more expensive Titan, sometimes. The only negative is the card's size. I have a Corsair Venegance C70 Corsair Vengeance Series Military Green C70 Mid Tower Computer Case (CC-9011018-WW) case, which is by no means small, and the width of the card (particularly the heatpipes, which stick out past the backplate a bit) causes it to press slightly against the frames of my window mounted intake fans. The card also sags, which I compensated for by suspending the PCI power cables from above. To be clear, the connectors are bearing some of the weight of the card, but only enough to compensate for the roughly 1/4" droop. This card runs warm, which is an intentional design tradeoff to keep it quiet. I personally don't care about fan noise so long as it is sub jet-engine, so I'll likely tweak the fan to run faster and earlier in the interests of stability and longevity. I threw some benchmarks at it on my Windows 10 Pro Core i7-3770 system with 12GB RAM and a SanDisk ReadyCache SSD SanDisk ReadyCache 32GB 2.5-Inch 7mm Height Cache Only Solid State Drive (SSD) With Upgrade Kit- SDSSDRC-032G-G26 and it essentially laughed at them. If you've got the dough, this is the card for you.

Fantastic GPU. I currently own a 30" Nixeus monitor that displays in 2560x1600. This card rips through every game in my library, with all the eye candy turned on. I primarily bought this card to future proof my PC for the new generation of games coming out, most notably, Fallout 4. I'm coming from an EVGA 780 TI Classified that, although the base and boost clock speeds were good, there was only 3 GB of VRAM. This certainly makes a difference if you decide to play at higher resolutions, and also if you have an overclockable monitor. GTA V feels like I'm playing a movie with this card. The STRIX software suite as two modes that I like, the gaming mode and OC mode. There's also an option called 'Gaming Booster' which will terminate the unused Windows background processes in order to transfer those resources to gaming performance. You can turn it off at will. I seriously recommend this ASUS offering. EVGA is a phenomenal company as well. But after looking at the other aftermarket 980TI's, I wanted to go a different route and switch it out for a couple years. Plus 95% of my build is ASUS/Corsair anyway, it just matched.
