I am giving this a 3 because it is made well but is too small and the description was wrong. First of all the size of cu. in. is incorrect. They have made their calculations based on the bag being a rectangle and it's a triangle. The cu. in. are more like 2500 not 2988. My kids are 8.5, so today all of their ski stuff will fit in it but it's tight. I packed in the following: boots, helmet, pants, puffy jacket, gloves, goggles, gator and 3 pairs of thin long johns. The boot compartment will NOT fit a men's size 13. It works now for a size 2 and I could see it working for a size 4, but that's it. The description states that the backpack straps can be hidden, which is not accurate. I would highly recommend this for a little kid maybe 5-8 years old. It is made well but just too small at this stage. It does not have extra pockets.
We ski about 4-5 times a year and one of those is usually on a plane. I opted for the Adult Everything Athalon Bag for each of us. It will be heavy for the kids this year but should last a long time.
