About the Author
L.A. Marr has played with words her whole, using them to paint pictures of what she saw growing up in the forests and fields in Oregon. She would write word pictures of the salmon and horses and wind through the trees. Always her protagonist was a girl like herself whose only companions were horses and the wilderness. At 50 she decided that she should remember those worlds and paint again and to her surprise another opened instead, one based around the occupants of a special place called Ethaia. This is her third published work. Ms. Marr still lives in the wonderful green state of Oregon with her husband of 30 years. Because of her love for all things outdoors, she has been involved in all activities with dogs and horses, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting, firefighting and emergency response. Currently living in the coastal city of Coos Bay she still enjoys her horses and dogs.
