I read through this book - and did all the exercises - in 4 days while on my vacation. I have struggled with weight loss and fitness and have never written down goals before. This book has inspired me to write down my goals and believe that I can achieve them. One of the BEST things I did was look up the authors on Facebook and I found Fatima Leite Kusch there and joined the Athlete Mindset Group that she has. It was wonderful to connect with like-minded and goal oriented people. Fatima is hosting a fitness retreat in April and I am so motivated by what I have read and what I hope to accomplish that my best friend and I have signed up. We went to Lake Austin in Texas in October hoping to get some fitness time in and it was more relaxation and spa oriented and their fitness classes were not very active - we were the on;y people in the gym everyday. Fatima's sounds much more up our alley and the Athlete Mindset is incorporated into the retreat.
I highly recommend this book to get you organized and to help you set goals to achieve what you want to do in fitness and in other areas. It is one of the most helpful motivational books with goal setting exercises that I actually completed! I am SO excited for my fitness journey with my new focus and my new connection with Fatima!
