This our second purchase of this desk. My son has had his for a few years and even survived moving without any major issues (it did get a scratch from the movers stacking boxes on it) but still looks very nice. The carbon-fiber laminate cleans easy, which is SUPER nice if someone tends to eat at their desk a lot. My daughter decided to go with a sit/standing converter that sits on this desk without issues. Even in the standing position, everything feels sturdy and she's running dual 24" monitors on a stand clamped to the converter.
The front drawer is garbage, honestly, so we can't use it. When we first attempted to use them, it wouldn't be more than a week before the arm of a computer chair caught the drawer, pulled it out, dumping everything on the floor. But, the back cage is perfect for holding a power strip and helping keep cables tidy. The two speaker mounts are handy if you have room for them. In our case, we have 3 desks all lined up, so my sons desk doesn't have them at all and my daughters desk only has the right side attached. If you
