Two members of the Honor Guard are found near death in Cerraine, while
Achine and Gialasa—the people they were supposed to be protecting—
have vanished.

Whole bunch of new stuff happening, even regeneration and rebirth~!

I loved this volume. Some parts really got my blood boiling with witnessing the dangers that Achine and Gia faced. But some new events take place that really change the game for everyone.

I also really liked Idane >////< A new character Mel introduces. I hope to see more of her~

And the mysterious wolf-kin child. I hope everything goes better for him. I want to see how he effects the plot.

I look forward to Vol. 3. I want to see how explosive things get with all the new developments.

Why did I get started on a series that has only two chapters?!? This novel smoothly gathers momentum and after what seems to be a moment, it ends leaving this reader with anticipation for the next installment. Well done!
