These are great all-around gloves -- sufficiently warm on cold days, but not uncomfortable on cool days. Durable enough for most tasks such as electrical work, yard work, framing, painting, tiling, plumbing. In fact, the only tasks I purposely don't use them for are soldering copper pipe with an open flame, and heavy lifting abrasive items such as paving stones and cinder blocks. I've even used worn out Atlas gloves for hand-digging in the dirt, though beware that this quickly eats away at the fingertips.
The back is a medium weight mesh that is clingy and breathable. The palm is a medium weight plastic nitrile coating that is very durable. The cuff is heavier than the fabric at the back of the hand, and heavily elasticized. Mine typically fail at the upper knuckle, but usually only after lots of use and some abuse.
I typically bounce between large and extra large gloves, and the Atlas XLs are my preferred choice, though I have fit comfortably into their Larges previously (large fits me, but the fingers are a bit too short). There's a bit of room for error here because the gloves are so elastic.
In a nutshell, these are good to have in all temps and for most work conditions, much more comfortable but not as durable as leather, though a good bargain (especially in bulk here on Amazon).
I bought the small size and tried them on, but there is a little extra room at the finger tips - I have child sized hands so that's not surprising. I was impressed by the Nitrile covering - I can see how it would be easy to work with small seeds - the Nitrile seems to be a slip-proof grip. The places where the Nitrile covers - bottom of hands and finger tips - would be waterproof, while the top of hand and wrist are made of a breathable weave - like a thick, soft mesh fabric. The packaging says the fabric does not get stiff when it gets wet.
Bottom line, great glove for any type of outdoor work - inlcuding working with animals and plants. Not waterproof, but water resistant. Appears to be washable, which is always great. It doesn't say washable anywhere on the packaging, but the ad on amazon says washable - well, you can just tell that they are. Would buy them again, especially for under $5.00!
They never get hot or give me wet hands and last almost forever too. Washing in machine works great never tried to dry them in drier, hang to dry instead.

Really good gloves to use for work on your car. I wanted a mix between the mechanix gloves and the thin nitrile gloves. This is the perfect combination and can take a beating.Published 5 months ago by Tony Mills

Great glove but by the picture I thought I was getting all six pairs for the price. Think it should be made a little more clear that it is only one pair.Published 10 months ago by emilie stricker
