I was very disappointed in the customer service that Kenny and Atomik offered. As the owner of the company he is able to work to help his customers when an error was made. After the wrong sized bolts were sent I asked to rectify it and he was unwilling to take any ownership in the error and to work with me.
After purchasing this product from Amazon and realizing we bought the wrong hardware (this was for inside walls and I was building the wall outside) we returned this item and began speaking to Kenny at Atomik to get the right materials. The communication that he provided was unclear from the start for a novice rock wall customer.
An error was made and the wrong size bolts (they were to short and did not work with some of the holds I purchased) were sent. When I asked to exchange them out with the correct size without a new shipping cost he just said to buy the bolts needed from a local hardware store.
He made the choice not to do the right thing and take the exchange at no extra shipping charges especially after we spoke multiple times prior to me buying the holds and hardware. I specifically called and spoke to him as I am not an expert at rock wall climbing or building a rock wall. I proactively spoke to him and asked many questions to order the right items so this situation wouldn't happen, he is not very clear in communicating what was needed. Our conversations were to avoid the potential of getting the wrong items and having to ship it back.
You would think when a customer is spending a couple of hundred dollars on Atomik holds he would want to rectify this as for only a few dollars. Especially when we have been communicating several times about getting the right order.
Not the best customer Service.
