Unfortunately I had to return my Flame, because it was not clear that while it can record 4K at 30fps, it requires there to be a 30Hz signal. As I was planning to record 30fps 4K footage from my PS4 Pro, and the PS4 Pro only outputs at 60Hz, I was unable to receive a 4K signal from the Pro at all. I did test it with 1080p recordings which worked great, and I love all of the different monitoring capabilities, but this device unfortunately wasn't the correct device for me. I had to return it and buy the Ninja Inferno, which works great, but the catch 22 with that is there's no way to clip that 60hz signal back down to 30fps to save storage when the actual game I'm recording is 30fps.
The 4K capability of this recorder would absolutely be fine for cameras that can output 4K/HDR at 24hz or 30Hz, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use it for the purpose I thought I would be able to.
