About the Author
I was born in Seattle Washington at Virginia Mason hospital back in the summer of 1945. I was told I had polio when I was about five years old, but it was a mild case. I remember having the feeling of needles in my legs. Later when I was in first grade I remember having to have a shot every day for allergies and I had severe asthma. Eventually exercise exorcised the asthma for the most part. As recently as about ten years ago I would get wheezing spells, but not now.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science and currently live in the greater Seattle area.
