Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Fresh comics is an app designed to keep you up to date on all the latest in comics. It's not a reader, so be forewarned if that's what you're looking for, but it really isn't much on comic upkeep either. The layout is sloppy and hard to navigate, and a visit to your favorite comic site (or a quick google search) would probably find you what you need a lot faster.
Helps me keep track of all the books I need to get each week so... that's nice. Also gives good synopsis for book I may be interested in. It allows me to favorite not only a book to follow but the writer, artist, and other names attached to a good book which is great.
I really didn't find the app very useful. It didn't show me anything that I couldn't have found just as quickly by clicking a website and the layout was kind of sloppy and annoying to navigate, so it just felt like a waste of space on my Kindle Fire to me. I deleted it pretty quickly. The app wasn't bad per se, and with a few adjustments it could probably be pretty nice, but personally I just wouldn't bother downloading it.
This app is great. It lists in groups by publisher the comics being released each week. When you choose a publisher, it shows you all the comic books to be released by them. When you choose one, it reveals a page containing cover art, writer, artist, and a synopsis of what's happening. Also from that page you can click the cover art to see a larger view. In the upper right of this page, there is a "favorite" star. Click this, and it will take you to a page where you can favorite the artist, writer, title, publisher, and cover artist. If you choose to activate a favorite, comics with that criteria will be added to you favorites lists as they are added to the database.
Found when searching for a CBR reader. However, after repeated attempts, I found no way to read the CBR files on my Kindle. It appears to do everything else comic-related except the one thing I needed it to do.
Great app, concept is excellent. The initial download is a bit slow but then it's rezlly easy to use. Each week your pull list is fetched and you get multiple reminders. The only flaw is that the app is kinda slow and it would be great to have a «home» button directing to the screen with the comics for the week, the conventions,...
