Excellent
Using short poetry you can tell that the author is the only true advocate for herself and her courage shows in this book. Exceptionally written.

This is so inspiring. A beautiful and heart felt perspective on what it's like to be a woman. I think of Persephone's story often. Looking at it from different angles is fascinating

𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗦 & 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 by Amanda Lovelace is as wild and fierce as the beloved goddess that inspired it. This collection reimagines Persephone’s evolution in our modern world through brief and evocative poems interlaced with art of wildflowers and wildfires. Lovelace’s poetry masterfully balances hopefulness, irreverence, honesty, passion, and resilience. It was everything I needed to read at that moment. Add this collection to your list if you’re looking for poetry that soothes your heart and ignites your soul.

I devoured this book. Every page was as memorable as the last. Nothing bad can be said about this book. With the given circumstances that are going on in our country at the moment, this gives a positive outlook for women. Loved every part of it.

This book, like all of Lovelace's books, is a complete masterpiece. I have reread this book 20 times already since it finally arrived to me. It is a must buy and a must read for all women of all ages or even those who just need to read and hear the words she has to say.

flower crowns & fearsome things is amanda lovelace’s latest poetry collection, and their best yet! I love the contrast between the wildflower and wildfire poems, and how they encapsulate how one person can be both soft and fierce at the same time. Also, Janaina Medeiros’ artwork is always gorgeous!

Too Many Pictures Book is 160 pages, but only really 80 pages of words.

Amanda Lovelace is, and always will be, one of my favorite poets. She writes poetry that touches and heals the soul, and I will always be a faithful reader.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Andrews McMeel Publishing for the eARC of this book for an honest review!
"she never needed a weapon to be powerful".
This is my 9th Amanda Lovelace poetry collection and it felt like it was a book published just to keep her name out there. Sounds harsh but I didn't feel like there was as much effort put into this collection. There weren't any chapters and it was only 89 pages long. It barely took me anytime to read it. There are a lot of trigger warnings in this short collection which Lovelace lists at the start. It was very empowering and I feel like most of Amanda's collections are great reads for young girls.
"teach her that there's nothing wrong with worshipping herself first".
The book is very on point when discussing today's societal issues and I do commend Lovelace for writing so openly about everything that means something to her. If you are looking for a very quick read of inspirational quotes that are aimed at young girls/women then I do recommend this collection to you. Clearly I'm not a fan.
