He is Mafia and he takes what he wants and he wants her except she only wants one night. They had the best sex and incredible chemistry all night but she leaves him and disappears. I don’t like this woman for Massimo. He sacrificed so much for her but she can’t see a future with him, he’s a distraction to her goal.

I kept trying to put it down but couldn't. The story is about the love of two sisters and the love of a woman and a man. There are also scenes that are dramatic! This is the type of book where you sit in a quiet spot and read because you won't be able to stop reading it! I highly recommend it! I guarantee you won't regret it!

I enjoyed this story. Olivia and Massimo have good chemistry and share hot and steamy scenes. Via, as Olivia likes to be called, is independent and strong. Massimo supports her dream to be a great actress. There is danger in their world, and their are action scenes. I give it 4 stars because Massimo can be a little overbearing. Via knows her world is dangerous, but does something very stupid, and Massimo also does something stupid. I like the plot and most members of their families.

I enjoyed this book. The story is very good. Each book is about a different family member and their loves. I gave it 4 stars because there are portions of the story left untold. It’s not a cliffhanger, just introduced a problem and didn’t say what it was. I hate incomplete stories. I wish they would finish this story and then move to the next character’s book. That’s my only complaint. It’s not as if I would not read the next book.

An arranged marriage between the two families would strengthen them both. But Via wanted no part in these dealings and left the area and family to become an actress. She and Massimo had one great night together and He tried to find her but not knowing here name or where she lived wasn't going to work. Their relationship was wishful thinking until she arrives at her sister's engagement party to find that Massimo is her intended. Via is upset but then realizes she let Massimo go so she could further her acting career. Loved this book!

Mafia Bride is a stand-alone book, but part of a bigger series, 2, in fact. I would suggest to start at the very beginning, as there are various continuing stories intertwined. Some of which still remain unanswered, but I'm sure we'll find out soon...

Right I have to admit that I really did like this book and I truly believe you will too!!

BUT......

I got so fed up on Olivia's constant moaning and griping, about the fact that she wants to carry on acting. I love any woman who wishes to maintain their identity, as well as following her dreams.

However it's all she says on every page, (ok slight exaggeration there!!) Even after she's married and Massimo follows her to London, just so she can carry on chasing her dreams, she's still b*tching about it!!

FFS woman he's not once said that you can't carry on and even though he does everything to ensure your happiness, she's screaming out yet again, "I need my own identity and want to pursue acting!!" Gesü Christo!!!!It

But guess what.....

Seb is no longer the second oldest of all seven, marking him as Massimo's second oldest brother, as he's now....apparently Massimo's younger brother.....did anyone else notice that??

You didn't?? Not to worry and sorry for bringing it up right now, Che Cazzo!! Lol

But if you don't mind Olivia being a moaning ninny, you'll find this book is great. Although truth be told, I'd have preferred more written about Alvaro and made more of an issue and more lethality with the interactions with the Sovrano brothers.

It just didn't grab me as believable if I'm honest!! It felt like the author couldn't really be bothered with him. As either the bad doing and things, OR a really seriously and buy doing more despicable and deplorable things!!

The narration side is by two fantastic narrator's, Sebastian York and Mackenzie Cartwright, whom I've always thoroughly enjoyed listening to them!!

The only issue is that Sebastian kept doing a mild Italian accent, when doing Olivia's voice, even after stating how Massimo thought she was American due to having an American accent!! So that was the only issue as far as their portrayals of each of the characters.

So when it comes to both audio and reading the book, at the same time.....I would truly and completely fully, and without a doubt recommend!! I only gave this four stars due to the slight annoyance of Olivia and the siblings positional line-up 🙈🙉🙈🙉

From the moment they accidentally meet in a bar the chemistry between them is red hot they have what they believe is a one night stand but neither can forget the other and their lives from then on are intricately interwoven.
