Worst ear buds I've ever heard. Sounded like listening to music in a tin can. Every sound was muffled. I bought two pair because they were on sale. Thought I'd have a couple of pairs of ear buds I could use at the gym. I'm throwing out the pair I opened and returning the other pair. Really, they are horrible.

If you're looking for a snazzling pair of earphones to blast your favorite dub step or bass soaked track into the depths of your ear canals these are NOT for you. First of all the sound comes out muddled and muted. It sounds like I have custom shoved into my ears before the music. Last I checked, my ears were clean. This is the case with multiple devices and tracks. Secondly, the plastic build is cheap. We're all familiar with water bottle plastic. This stuff is even CHEAPER! Brittler too...

Seriously, don't listen to music through these. They are a disgrace to good music playback. If you want to use them for podcasts or radio, that's fine... But I've heard crisper sounds through most other pairs of headphones.

Amazon was kind enough to take my complaints and it worked out, so props to Amazon as always. But shame on you Jlabs for selling such cheap junk. The packaging was cheap as well. They just shoved it between two pieces of plastic wrap. $6 becomes a matter. These aren't even worth 25 cents.

Waste of money, horrible product. Awfully frequency range. I am guessing that frequency range of JLab JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds is somewhere between 250 and 255 Hz, seriously!. I cannot hear lows, I cannot hear highs, I guess they are reducing the noise alright, to a point that that you cannot hear anything. JLab JBuds are very expensive ear plugs, that is for sure. Hi-Fi ?
Not even low fidelity, worse than that.
When I plug in my Samsung OEM earbuds I can actualy hear the music, hear the people talking on the phone.

DO NOT buy it!!!!

Well, this will be a two part review because the pair I got was defective, and had a short at the plug end, so sound would crackle when the cord moved, and completely cut out unless it was kept straight for the first couple inches from the plug. However, I am sure this is not the norm, and just about every electronic product will have a few defective ones from time to time, so I wouldn't consider this a deal breaker.

That being said, when the cord was straight and my pair was working, they sounded as good as any cheap (<$10) pair of headphones. In my experience, headphones under the $20 mark all seem to have a sound like a speaker in a coffee can. I do like to have a "disposable" pair of headphones that I can just leave in the car as a spare set, and these are just fine for that, and better than the ones they sell at the gas station or kwiki-mart type places. So as a cheap backup pair, these are a decent buy. However, since the pair I got was defective, I decided not to get another set, and instead got another pair of my "go-to" headphones, and will just use my old pair as the spare set. If you ARE more concerned with sound quality and don't mind spending a little more, check out the Sony MDR-EX10LP. They are closer to $20 however, so if you are looking for just a cheap pair, the Jbuds are still a good choice.

I had before purchased the more expensive version of Jbuds, and had seen some reviews that it wasnt really worth the extra price from these versions, so when it came time to replace I got these. MISTAKE! Most of the reviews basically said the sound quality was the same, (ok fine) but didnt talk about the size or fit difference between the two! I have VERY small ear canals, and the more expensive set comes with 4 sized caps. I used the smallest and they were perfect. This set only comes with 3 and the smallest one is too big for me. Luckily I had the smaller set of caps from my previous buds. Also, the base of the bud that the cap attaches to is too wide and large (for me), and can be painful if I try to push the bud any further in my ear. Now I realize this is probably not an issue for most people, but I wish I had known this before purchasing. It is worth the extra money for the more expensive set; not for the sound quality, but for the better fit capability. Also, the more expensive buds have a clip and this set does not. Not that big of a deal but a nice and convenient feature.

I own a lot of ear buds, I don't like over ear headphones and I have a set of headphones in the car/work/computer/pocket so that I'm never without any. These get 2 stars only for the fact that they emit sound and are comfortable for a few hours of use. Aside from that the sound is pretty sucky. I was hoping it was just a 'burn in' issue and that with time sound would improve but after dozens of hours of use they still sound pretty crappy. I got the blue and yellow versions and both have the same bad sound. I use the yellow ones for video games and they sound mediocre even for that. At this price point maybe I don't have much room to complain however I have purchased other JLab in ear headphones for only a few dollars more in the past and had great sound, these however are a bit of a joke, like a free pair you'd get on an airplane or something. I have other JLab products that I really like but skip these, pay a few extra dollars for a decent pair. Looking at the reviews its obvious that these are not a clear winner, I'd say not even for the price.
