Cone: Poly Injection Polyurethane is categorized as a Polymer. It is a resilient, flexible and a durable manufactured material that allows for maximum flexibility that produces great sounding speakers lasting you a long time.	Voice Coil: High Temperature Our speakers are capable of higher or elevated temperature strength and fatigue properties that will increase performance and efficiency of heavy duty play time through lower weight and higher operating temperatures.	Surround: Rubber Impermeable to air, rubber has the ability to endure or resist exposure to the many types of weather fronts. Rubber has many different applications. Nice speakers for the price BUT ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A DIRECT FIT for the front speakers on a 2001 Honda Civic as the add suggests. I had to order some 'adapter ring' from another vendor and still drill new screw locations. PITA that I happily would have paid extra to avoid if I knew ahead of time. Sounded much better than factory speakers once all was said and done.

These speakers perform very well for their size. They mount easily, are packed securely, and have an appealing look in my opinion. In a direct replacement of my factory speakers, they were an easy swap as I also purchased connector adapters for my GM vehicle. It took longer to open door panels and get access to the blown speakers than it did to do the swap. Once installed and connected, these speakers have a very good capability and sound very good. Actually, I couldn't believe how low the price was; I was able to replace all four speakers for the price of two other speakers. I do not have an opinion of durability as I have only had these speakers a few weeks.

Great sound from little big speakers.

Ok, I bought to replace the door speakers on a Honda Accord 1998 - these are not a direct fit as they are a little wider than the plastic housing in the doors. I had to improvise by drilling the speakers to match the screw holes, then add 3/16" washers to make them pop out slightly to accommodate them inside the plastic housing.
I also removed the connectors from the old speakers and soldered them directly to the terminals of these, worked great.
The sound quality is much better as you expect. There's a lot of bass and extra mid-high range thanks to the secondary drivers.
They come with a plastic grille that was not need for my car; comes with 8 metal tabs, also not needed; 8 long screws (about 1-inch each); and two pieces of "polarized" wire that I didn't use either.
I am quite pleased with them despite the extra work to install - in fact, it was well worth the extra work. Recommended !

First off i want to point out that i initially bought these to replace my blown stock speakers and they did the job perfectly until i started to play them at very close to max volume. Which will allow Audiophiles to hear the shakes that it makes when trying to play 3 way all at once. Regardless though sound quality is a solid 8/10 because it certainly is better than what was in my car from factory.

Extremely poor quality.

Amazon claimed this would fit my car, nothing could be further from the truth. I spent a full day fabricating a custom mounting surface for just one door. Make sure you pull out the old speaker before you order, then go to crutchfield or some other site that gives you specific specifications and the recommended adapter if needed. My car has abs contoured adapters that are actually contoured to the mounting surface and point the speaker up toward the passengers. This speaker would not even begin to fit without a lot of work.
Before putting the door panel back on, I fired up the speaker to check polarity and speaker performance. I found that my particular car is wired backward, uses the striped wire as positive. Would have been nice to not have to figure this out. So I isolate the speaker, and try it out. What a disappointment. To say that these speakers are poor quality does not even begin to describe them. The sound is muffled. There is no bass. Some guys talk about "mid bass", but there is no such thing. Either a speaker reproduces lower frequencies or it doesn't.

Will NOT fit a 2008 KIA Spectra front doors

Heads up. Amazon says it fits. Without a good deal of modification to the existing OLD speaker bracket you can’t use them in the front doors. The magnet will hit the window.
I had to make them work. We bought the KIA new and we are giving it to my BFF, which happens to be my granddaughter.
Fortunately we do everything together. While it was a great learning experience for her, she also learned that Amazon doesn’t know everything and we should or could have done more research.
BTAIM. Even using the factory speaker bracket we cut out of the old speakers, the speakers are NOT completely secured to the door.

If you decide to use them....having a soldering iron, shrink tubing (& a heat source for said), small, thin metal tabbed ty wraps, set of trim/panel removal tools and you BFF will help.

Enjoy life, listening to the sound of life

el que funciona va de fabula el problema es que despues de desmontar las puertas y poner un altavoz va bien pero al poner el otro sorpresa, no suena no hace nada y no es problema de los cables del coche pues conecte otra vez el antiguo y va bien, bueno cascado pero suena osea que vaya timo y ahora como hago para devolver un altavoz? o desmonto puerta quito el que esta bien y lo devuelvo? me va a costar mas el collar que el perro.
