These are perfect for starting tomatoes and peppers from seeds. These containers give plenty of room for root growth for your larger garden plants to get started before needing to be planted in the garden. This size container would be considered a 3-4 month container by your professional gardeners and gardeners who have been doing this for a long time. What I'm starting to gather from watching YouTube videos and reading about gardening/seed starting is that for about every inch in size that your container is equates to the number of months before you need to transplant to the garden or larger container.
Since it is late winter where I am and we won't see our last frost until about April 25th, it's only time before I get to see how durable these are. These are the same size as most of the single containers you buy at the local nurseries and big box stores that contain peppers or tomatoes unless you wait for them to be in a container that's classified as a 1 gallon.

I decided to just put all my seed starts in these little pots right off the bat this year. Last year I started in peat pots and transferred over eventually anyway so what the heck, just use them first. When the pots are empty they seem kinda flimsy but once filled with potting soil they do they job just great!! I have several still outside from last year and they seem quite durable. I would definitely recommend.

Very cheap and nasty knock off from China, misleading advert no where near the size advertised due to flared rim.
