Given that these are active noise canceling ear buds, I'm rating them one star cause it's the one thing they fail at the most. While being mildly uncomfortable, which I'm sure I could fix changing ear pieces, I quickly found a lot of static when moving my head or even just during certain sounds. After checking it was plugged in correctly, I luckily turned off the noise canceling before going to pause my music, only to discover it was the issue! The static vanished as soon as noise canceling (the point to the purchase) was off, rendering them as just earbuds that are slightly worse then what I was already using.

I use them on the plane now all the time. You can here a difference in the background noise when you turn on the active noise cancelling. comfortable, easy, good quality sound.
I hate to report that the pair I received doesn't cancel any noise. I'm not sure why but I can't notice any difference when they are turned on. So I can't recommend these for noise canceling. They are fine as plain headphones, can be used to answer phone calls and are comfortable to wear. I received these for free for an honest review. I also have a pair of the Bose QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones which I love. I guess I can't expect a $40 headphones to compare with a $250 headphones.
I found them to be comfortable in ear and very light once clipped to my shirt. The noise cancellation feature felt like it was only increasing the volume at first but when tested with interruptions they performed above expectations.
Sound was also quite clear, I played dubstep as well as pop songs on them and felt that I was not missing any parts of the music. I tried to use them to control my music with the remote but there were some instances where it did not respond.
These were great until the wires near the jack started cutting out, I have to pinch the jack to get them to work and hold on to it or one side or the other cuts out, the noise cancelling is great and still works though. Was happy with them but do not feel like I got my moneys worth out of them.
