This is an awesome EO. Yes, it is in jojoba oil but that is clearly stated on the front of the label. It's a wonderful scent. Last year I found Method soap at target that was vanilla in peppermint and it was amazing. I wanted to diffuse vanilla and peppermint in my ionic diffuser. This does it. Fills the room with only 2 drops of vanilla and 2 of peppermint. It's a great blend. It smells like fresh vanilla beans. Purchased at my local Whole Foods but it's nice to see it on Amazon.

This is an affordable and excellent smelling oil. I do like some jojoba oil for homemade skincare products anyways so it's doubly good. I mixed some of this in for a body butter recipe with some other scents and it worked great.

What can I say except the smell is beyond amazing! I had ordered vanilla oil from another vendor and I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what but the smell was nauseating and did not smell in any like vanilla. This smells so good you want to bath in it…….which is what I intend to do once I make my next batch of shower gel. I will buy again.

I see a lot of complaints in these reviews about this not smelling like a glade air freshener or a bath and body works lotion. It isn't a vanilla cupcake scented fragrance oil, it's a vanilla essential oil mixed with jojoba as a carrier oil. If you read the description and you are aware of what the product is when ordering I don't think you'll be let down. It's a nice smoky vanilla, not too sweet, but not very strong either. It works well as a skin scent and mixed with other oils in a diffuser.

Was skeptical buying because I’m always so disappointed with the quality of vanilla in oils … but it was discounted and it had jojoba in it as a carrier oil so I could put it straight on my wrists… barely any vanilla smell though. I’m such a vanilla girly I’ve been looking for years for just plain vanilla oil and none of that synthetic stuff! No allergic reaction so that’s a bonus. Did have a cracked bottom and didn’t feel like returning so luckily I had a spare clean amber jar with a dropper so I just transferred to that.
