I highly recommend these. they are nice for everyday wear too.
The socks haven't shifted around on my feet during classes and provide extra grip in asana that require the feet to be grounded, such as downward-facing dog, or any of the side-angle and triangle poses. They've become an indispensable part of my heated vinyasa practice, but less so in ground-based (yin, hatha) classes.
Some of the grip material has started to come off of the big toes of some of the socks, something that isn't entirely unexpected for the amount of use they have been subjected to. All in all, I have found them to be a worthwhile purchase and will continue to buy additional pairs as needed
I got them expecting a good grip on our linoleum gym floor. On the first day of beginner acro yoga though, I slipped. No fancy or strenuous move (this was a beginners' class). I had never slipped on that floor before, and I think it's dangerous to rely on socks that can slip when you don't expect them to.
