What can I say about these awesome binoculars? I got these for my 5-year old grandson for his birthday. He said that he needed binoculars to go bird watching. I was extremely surprised when I opened them to see that they look very expensive. They close up to fit the space between a young child's eyes and open to accommodate an adult. They have a great neck strap to keep him from dropping them. They are compact and are light and easy for a child to use and to transport. The small size does not compromise the quality of the product. They are of such excellent quality, that my miserly brother in law asked me where I got them and said that he couldn't even match that price at Goodwill. He said that he would tell his cousin about them, since he is looking for some good binoculars.

All in all, these are wonderful.... and have night vision, to boot!! My grandson loves them. Every time he is here, he picks them up and heads outdoors to look for birds. Now he is asking me to make him a bird book to find birds. Errrrr. I am not sure how to do that for a non-reader, but I am working on that!!

These are a great product and the price was more than reasonable.

I'm not sure why these haven't gotten 5 stars from everyone that bought them? These little binoculars are fantastic. No, they are no where near FBI surveillance quality or Secret Service quality. Now, if you go to a concert/sporting event & have to sit further away, you can actually use these to see the performer, athlete, etc...Not well enough to be a creeper to count nose hairs or see what kind of watch they are wearing, but why would anyone?! I used these at a Madonna concert & they were exactly as I expected they'd be. I also used these at a football game. They were awesome to use & look through! I actually bought these to look at wildlife when I go on my nature trail walks & it helps me see across the water & into the trees. These binoculars are lightweight, easy to adjust & look through comfortably & compact & come with a decent carrying pouch & cleaning cloth. They fit right into a pocket. Why wouldn't I rate these 5 stars?! If you're looking for simple binoculars to carry around like I was, these most certainly fit the bill & they met my expectations.

Full disclosure that I was provided these binoculars for a fair and honest review. The 30x60 binoculars are a great addition to any hiking or backpacking pack. They are incredibly small and lightweight and powerful enough for most situations. Unsurprisingly, they are less comfortable than the larger model (Aurosports 10x25 Folding High Powered Binoculars) and a little harder to dial in for absolute sharpness of image. I like that they come with a belt case and a neck lanyard so they are available quickly without having to dig through your pack trying to find them.

The low light advertisement seems to be a bit of a stretch i have yet to really see a difference. All in all these are a great price for the size and features. I think they are a perfect fit for new scouts and hikers.

' Made for little people's eyes, mostly, I would guess. I bought this pair of binoculars for looking up, into tall shelving, where I work. I work in a warehouse, where pallets of merchandise reside, and the stickers with the contents of these pallets sometimes have tiny print. They're okay for this task, but I wouldn't take these anywhere, where the field of view should be wide. Bird-watching needs a wide field of view. The field of view with these, gives you a very narrow target (object of focus). Don't let the "30 x 60" deceive you. I have an older pair of binos, with 7 x 35, and the field of view is just great. These might be good for concerts (i.e. Symphony Orchestra).

These arent anything special, but if you dont need something special, just something to help see a little further for a baseball game or something, these will get the job done. Brought these to Costa Rica just in case if I saw some cool birds or something and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. Saw plenty of cool birds with these! Although you should have a wide range lens to really see birds the best, I was happy with spending a fraction of what I would on a nice pair.

My binoculars came well packaged and exactly on time. I purchased mine because I Camp a lot and I lifeguard open waters. I wanted something small and effective, and since I know there will be a chance I have to drop them to get to the water quickly; I wanted moderately priced.

And the price is good because my first pair were dropped into the water, my second pair got lost saving 8 people in capsized canoes getting pulled out in a current. I wanted replaceable binoculars.
If you need outdoor binoculars for any reasons, from watching kids in open water, to circumcising gnats, these are for you.
