Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil, known by the botanical name Melaleuca Alternifolia, is known to possess antiseptic properties. The First Botany’s Melaleuca oil is one of the best natural Australian oil and is extracted from the leaves and twigs by steam distillation. Tree Tea Oil is a key ingredient of soaps, creams, lotions, and disinfectants throughout the world.


Tea tree oil shampoo a. Take few drops of First Botany Tea Tree Oil. b. Buy a shampoo that is unscented, preferably made of herbal ingredients, as they work the best with TTO. c. Mix just two drops of TTO with an ounce of the shampoo. Do not use more than just a couple of drops as it may cause side effects.	Room spray a. You will need 1 tbsp. of vodka, 6 tbsps. of filtered (pure) water, 40 drops of TTO b. Take a small spray bottle and pout the vodka in it. Then, add the entire quantity of TTO to it and shake well. c. Next, add the water and let it form an even mixture, shake well after this. It is now ready to use!!	Can be used for acne a.Take around 20-40 drops of witch hazel and put a few drops of TTO. b. Apply to the skin twice a day with a cotton swab. c. Avoid over-using the solution and stay away from sun when applied on the face.

As soon as a I picked up the delivered box, I could smell the (Melalueca) Tea Tree Oil. That's because It had leaked all inside the box! So, the smell tells me it must be the real stuff because it smells like the one from the seller's of the pryamid company. Ya know which one I'm talking about?!
It should work fine to take care of ant, misquito & other bug bites; along with any miscellaneous skin issues.

First of all, I would like to say that I did NOT receive this discounted, nor did I receive the product for free for my review. I am just writing this for all of those (like me) who don't trust reviews written by people who are given free stuff because... well, this stuff is awesome!! That being said, I just ordered a second bottle of this for myself, full price because I am so thrilled with the results from this oil.

I originally purchased this because my scalp was dry during the winter and I know it is supposed to help with that. After receiving the oil and reading about the product a bit more, I read that tea tree oil can be used on your face for occasional breakouts and on your feet to help cure various forms of athletes' foot. ( I wear socks all winter because my feet are cold, so I am always trying to prevent athlete's foot from rearing it's ugly head! )

The packaging of this product, as others have stated, was great. No leakage and the dropper provided with this product is great. It screws on tightly and I have had no leaking problems.

The smell... well... it smells like tea tree. Nothing Pine Sol-ish about it to me. It isn't something I want to smell like, but it doesn't bother me at all or seem stinky at all.

The performance of this product was high above my expectations! I used it in my shampoo to cure my dry scalp and it worked marvelously. No itchy, dry scalp atop my noggin any more! I also used it on my feet and it not only eliminated any traces of athlete's foot that I had, but it softened my feet tremendously. That's not even the best part!! I had a few warts on my feet (Oh, I know.... I'm gross. But I have to tell you about them to tell you why this product rocked my socks off!) So, back to my gross warts: I have tried many things to get rid of these plantar warts - that brush on stuff, duct tape, freezing, potatoes (which I guess is a thing??) and even digging at them with pointy things... all to no avail. The little buggers just got angrier, more painful and usually invited their friends (more plantar warts) to join the fun.

Well! Now I have them beaten - Vanquished! I was only using this oil to eliminate athlete's foot, and I had the unexpected result of it getting rid of my warts. They are shrunken and eventually eliminated. I have only been using this oil for about 1 1/2 months too, which is pretty fast in my opinion! I would take a hot shower and after showering, and drying my feet I would drop some oil onto a cotton ball and swab my feet. That's literally it. Once I noticed that the warts were shrinking, I did sometimes also swab them in the morning as well, but that was only when I remembered - so not often.

I will say that I tried using this on my face for a zit that popped up (Oh, the image you must have of me in your head now: flaky scalp, warty feet, and zitty face!) and it was FAR too severe for my very sensitive skin. So, I am sure it can be used, but it was too strong for my skin. There are MANY things that are too strong for my very sensitive skin, so I didn't mark off any points for the product.

Long story short - this was a fantastic product that did more than I thought it would do, more efficiently than I thought it would and I just bought more to try and coerce my husband into trying it on his feet for his athlete's foot as well. I still have over half a bottle and I have been using it regularly.

Buy it for beautiful summer feet and I guarantee you won't be sad that you did!

I was looking for the best tea tree oil that I could find. This is it. Above all the others, this was of the highest grade possible. I have a creme treatment that is actually has super-antibiotic properties that I got from my chemist/cosmetologist. It requires only a small amount and can be used for everything from pimples to boils, and it actually shrinks them in one day. One of the first ingredients listed is tea tree oil which means that it's one of the main ingredients. The mixture was becoming a bit dry after 5 or 6 years (it has a l-o-o-o-ong shelf life) so I wanted to moisten it with one of the ingredients. Since tea tree oil was the first liquid ingredient listed, that's the item for which I opted, and purchased this product. It worked beautifully, added into the mixture very well - and even has the same scent as the creme itself. I had recent occasion to use it on an infection on my toe which was so bad that I couldn't even let a doctor touch it to lance it. After a day or two of treatment with the creme that I fortified with the tea tree oil, the infection went so far down that I could let the doctor touch it and drain what was left. Next time I have an infection, I'm going to try the tea tree oil alone first to see how it works. This is a very high quality cosmeceutical and should be taken seriously, as well as kept out of the reach of children. It's strong and works beautifully, especially if you blend your own mixtures. My doctor said that she could tell how infected that toe had been and would like to know what I used on it that cleared it up BETTER than an antibiotic cream, so I told her what it was, and that it had an extra boost of tea tree oil. SHe was amazed, but still put me on a course of antibiotics because the infection had been that bad. I continued to apply the tea tree oil boosted creme though, and within a couple of days, you wouldn't have known there had been a deep infection there except for the dead skin. This is a great product. Use it wisely.

Have you used tea-tree in your toothpaste? (I make my own from coconut oil and bicarb and a splash of peppermint (perfectly optional) and I mix it with tea-tree each time I clean my teeth. It's helped me with periodontal probs and sore gums no end. Obviously you already know tea-tree has a ton of other uses, but I just wanted to share that one while I was here. Oh and I soon got used to the taste. Actually, I think it tastes of something doing you good, which is rather apt :) (cos it is!)

Arrived promptly and exactly as described, the smell is quite strong, and I guess it's an acquired taste...I'm still waiting to see the skin benefits however when used a couple of drops with shampoo it does feel a lot nicer to use and hair feels softer, again, still waiting to see the benefits though it has only been a week so fingers crossed....I would suggest that if this came with instructions for use for different treatments it would be a bonus, however this is a good sized bottle for the price so no complaints there!

If this is "pure and undiluted" then they are doing something wrong. I'm originally from Australia and tea tree oil was high quality and inexpensive. When you open a bottle of tea tree oil it should just about knock you out of your shoes. This stuff just smells weak. Personally, I believe it is diluted.
