I could not purchase this book in Australia as it was sold out. After viewing the words of Kakadu man at the museum of indiginous culture, I needed to read more. His words and descriptions of nature and the dreamtime are moving and prophetic. His words are simple but very powerful. It is a moving experience to read his thoughts. You will gain a better understanding of Australia by reading this book.

I was extremely lucky to meet Big Bill Neidjie in 1989, and I bought this book there. Bill was gracious enough to sign my copy.

Beyond that, this is a gorgeous book, both in terms of the photos, Bill's words and his history.

The world lost a very special man when he passed.
