Relationship Status - This is social media gone too far, but the way people are about their smartphones and social media . . . A well written, intriguing story that's hard to put down.
Timeline - One of the first books I read by the author. A well written story that's hard to put down. I laughed at the discovery.
Friend Request - This is my favorite of Wailing's Auto series. Just one little virus and the world goes nuts. Well written and intriguing and funny. Scary, too, with the way smartphones mesmerize people today.
Backup - My second favorite of Wailing's Auto series. Death doesn't stop a person from having all kinds of enjoyment and a new life. Well written and intriguing, and unbelievable and scary at the same time. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it.
Copy - A well written, intriguing book that's hard to put down. Short but entertaining.
Duallists - A well written, intriguing story that I couldn't put down until I was finished. I've enjoyed several of this author's work and read him whenever I find a new book by him.
As for the story, this is a fantastic story. I haven't even finished yet. It really makes you think about how technology is advancing, and the potential future of the technological movement. The author has crafted a fantastic vision and storyline, a compelling read, and a cautionary tale. I highly recommend this.
It's not hard to see that some of the technologies and resulting social structures and behaviours described in the book are emerging now - and much of the world created here seems all too plausible.
Characters are created that you begin to care about, with real and sometimes amusing behaviours and conversations.
The ending left you hanging and hoping and was a good way to leave the door open for the next book.
It is such a smart book, with unexpected twist and turns and with the end leaving you wanting for "his Auto to continue writing as soon as possible" ( you will understand after you read the book). The stories are not just your average every day action, mystery, adventure pass the day on your holiday stories. This is something you will continue contemplating after you read it for a long time, thinking about where is this society going and is it possible to end up like this?
Anyway you have to read it, it`s great.
