Top Customer Reviews
The 2010-2011 60th edition goes beyond the traditional Autocourse format. It looks outside the cockpit to the "Prime Movers" in the sports history. It has lengthy interviews with Sir Jackie Stewart and Sir Stirling Moss, a tasty little piece on Formula 1 engine technology, expanded team reviews, a listing of every chassis used during the year and a couple pages of those statistics you hear the announcers quote during race coverage. It also reviews (albeit briefly) GP2, GP3, the Renault World Series, Formula 2, Formula 3, World Sports and GT cars, European Touring cars, NASCAR, IRL, ALMS, and Grand-AM. And then there's a nice little piece on the European carting scene; a format yet to be seriously exploited in America.
In the end it's all about "Who won what", but in addition to its faithful documentation of the history of Grand Prix racing in 2010, Autocourse again tells you how the races were won and lost and the kind of people who made it happen.
