I am a confirmed SolidWorks user though I wanted to be informed on this competing 3D CAD package. I was impressed with the thorough detail of the commands and examples in the book. There are many similarities in the two programs and I guess that everything done in one can be done in the other, though some with fewer steps and some with more. I don't have a need to actually learn the product but I will keep the book for reference. I also follow some AutoCAD Inventor forums on LinkedIn to help keep me in the loop.

I believe this book is complete and would allow me to learn Inventor on my own.

It is very good book,but a little bit hard to understand if you are not engineer. I am going to Evergreen Valley college in San Jose California my teacher is very good and he help me to understand want the book is saying.

This is a great book to learn Autodesk "Inventor". This is the same book for sell in my University Book Store for about 40% off. Shipping was free and it was delivered in 3 days. I think that the only way I would have got it cheaper, was to find it used. I didn't have that much time so, THANKS AMAZON!!
