Received air hawk after viewing on TV commercial. Absolutely a piece of junk. Attempted to check tire pressure on two of my vehicles after charging battery for over three hours.It then quit and I charged another 2 hours. Found out that battery charge lasts for only 15 minutes. Pressure exerted was ridiculous. Small burbs of air from a piston with the diameter of 2"? TV commercial shows tire inflated in a matter of minutes, however obvious that this commercial was 'doctored.' This was touted as a great product by the commercial. Do not by this 'toy' It is misrepresented.

This requires numerous recharging for even a small amount of pressure. It comes with a rinky dink cloth storage bag in which it barely fits, This is handy in an emergency when no other air pressure source is available but not for general use.

This thing is a piece of crap PERIOD! I bought it for my husband for Father's Day and have yet to even get it to work properly! Does not at all come close to the info-mercial I saw on TV. The ONLY reason I gave it one star is because you are required to do so. Needless to say I am returning it for a full refund! Do not buy this product!

We bought this over month ago, and just started house it now that the weather has heated up. My main reason for purchasing was to blow up inflatables for the pool. It does NOT work well at all. Every at 36in tube takes forever to fill. We end up having to use the hand pump. We were intrigued by the commercial we saw on it, and really are disappointed. Because I asked to return it after the 30 days, I was told I can't/ I get it that is the fine print. A long time Amazon customer and would of liked the consideration to return this. SUCH a waste of money. Battery does not last long either. It comes with two attachments to inflate, and I found that limiting. Couldn't use it on rafts or air mattresses.

I wanted to like this product because it seemed like a one stop shop, however, it was not as “fast & easy,” as the box/product claims. It took nearly ten minnutes to blow up a confetti balloon. It was not that efficient or easy especially given the cost of the product. I cannot imagine using it to inflate a vehicle tire. Sole purpose of purchasing the Air Hawk portable pump aside from the many claimed uses it can be of... not happy and very expensive! I would not recommend it to be purchased.
Sorry, I really wanted to like it!

Two Fatal Flaws

Two Fatal Flaws with this device.
1. It has to be screwed in to function. All electric/gas pumps I know of can be hardpressed to fill tires, this one will not work unless screwed in (you can tell by the 'live gauge'). Because of this you typically lose 10-15 PSI from unscrewing.
2. You cannot overfill. Overfilling cold be a nice way to compensate for flaw #1 whereas if you needed to fill a tire to 40 PSI you could fill it to 50 and expect to lose maybe 10 from the unscrewing. Unfortunately this thing maxes out close to what most of my tire's suggested PSIs are preventing this.

Because of these 2 combined fatal flaws I've only been successfully able to use this for balls and small inflatable objects but no tires which is primarily what I bought it for.

This is a great idea, poorly executed. The biggest problem is the connection to the tire. It must be screwed in. This means that after the tire is inflated, you have to unscrew. On a bike tire, no matter how fast I go, I lose about 20 lbs of pressure removing it when the job is done. Also, the inflator tube pulls out of the gun too easily. If they could make the tube disengage from the pin (like most hand pumps) it would be perfect.
