'This set of four picture books are a lovely way to inspire creativity and imagination in your little one. Each book contains its own season packed full of detailed drawings... The most wonderful thing about these books is that the story is always different, there are always new things to discover and new stories to tell. If you are looking for some creative ways to introduce the Seasons to your kids or even just hoping to get some picture books, this set is a definite must.'

The pictures are very detailed and realistic. There's also a nice progression in each season depicted. For e.g, autumn starts with children harvesting apples and chestnuts, autumn showers, and then family time indoors and outdoors, making preserves, etc.
P.S. I was surprised to see reviews dissatisfied with "no Halloween references" in this Autumn book. For all the others expecting that - yes, there's nothing about Halloween there, because the author Gerda Muller is from Netherlands, and unlike the US, the tradition of Halloween isn't widely celebrated in most of Europe.
