The Avalon 3 Temperature Self Cleaning Bottle-less Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel cabinet. It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. There is a built-in nightlight making the water spouts clearly visible in the dark. This water cooler is bottle-less with an NSF certified activated carbon filter and a sediment filter in the cabinet and a water line that can be attached to your water source. The water is taken from your water source and filtered through the filter and then through the machines hot and cold water tanks. The filter will purify the tap water eliminating any chlorine, lead, rust, and bacteria. There is also a built-in leak detector to automatically monitor the water flow from the water source into the machine. We have incorporated a self-clean ozone function which will automatically clean the machine’s water tank with the injection of ozone by the press of a switch. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. Setup is easy and the unit can be connected directly to your existing sink water line. All parts necessary for installation are included. The dispensing area is 12x3x10 inches with 9 inches of space below the spouts. The unit dimensions are 41x12x13 inches.

I thought I'd write a review, i saw some bad reviews due to water leaking and water coming out the side of the vent. Unfortunately i had that issue, Spoke to Customer Service with Avalon and they sent me a video on how to fix the issue, Very simple to fix, The wire for the electric float valve was cut? i ended up splicing the wires together and that fixed the leaking issue, of course make sure the seal on the cold tank is seated properly before you assemble the top back.
Also they will be sending me a new cold tank lid to replace.
Hope this helps everyone.
There is a self-cleaning feature which keeps any bacteria from growing. It is a very easy to use feature. There is also a built in filter which filters out lead, chlorine, and rust. This is such a pretty and sleek dispenser too! I'm sure you will be very happy with you're purchase as we are with ours!
The hot water flow stream has become so slow that it’s not worth using. I am using the room temperature water and boiling for my tea.
I purchased Avalon bottleless water dispenser thinking it would be beneficial to have both hot and cold filtered water instantly. I have had this product for four months now and I really miss the clean taste of the bottled water I used to buy from a local water store.
After installing the unit first thing I noticed was the taste of the water. It simply tasted like I was drinking regular tap water. I figured it’s only been a week and that I should give it some time for the filters to work properly. Forward four months and I am still getting the same tap water taste, hard water stains and the residue on the surface of coffee or tea.
At this point, I think I have wasted over $250 for a product that dispenses regular tap water. I believe I would be better off investing a little more and to have a unit that worked properly.
Installing this meant I needed to buy a few more things. An ice maker outlet box, an ice maker water line and a 1/4” to 1/4” compression union. Turns out there was not an ice maker outlet box for anything other than new construction. I cut the hole for an exact fit and then opened a hole on the other side of the wall to secure the box. This hole was also used to connect the CPVC to the outlet box which uses shark bite. Once that’s done I had to connect the water line and then the compression union and then the PE line which came with the machine. That ultimately was connected into the inlet of the machine.
Note: the most difficult part was securing the compression union to the PE tube. I had to use a hammer to secure it. I ran to the store a few times looking for alternatives but was told each time I had what I needed. Just needed some strength.
If you have the time and resolve to do this it can come out looking great. Water tastes great and this is going to save the family many trips downstairs. :)
I think they should have the option to connect to either line, though.
It's now time to replace the filter and I now see our model has been replaced with a 2-stage filter. I called SC to inquire what the difference is. He doesn't know and the specialist is not available. I then asked if there is a kit I can buy to convert/user the 2 stage filtration system. He checks, comes back and say there is an upgrade plan I can use whereby Avalon will give me 20% off. From the surface, the units looks identical except for the 2 bottle filtration. If that's the case, I would be NUTs to cough up $200 for a new dispenser after spending $250 less than a year ago for the old one!
Using it in the lunchroom of a small company.
Bought it to replace the Aquvers unit that broke.
Was annoyed with the Aquvers because the only part that broke was the hot water tap and Aquvers could/would not provide replacement.
We bought 3 Aquvers and 2 of 3 have broken hot water taps.
Features I like about the Avalon (my only experience is with Aquvers so that is what I am comparing to):
1. The area under the taps is a little larger so you don't have to hold cup/glass while filling.
2. The unit is a little taller so an adult doesn't have to bend/stoop so much.
3. The hot water safety feature is on top and easier to operate.
Just make sure you purge the filters before use or the water will be funky for a while.
