When I first used Avalon Organics Body Wash, it was really effective and high-quality. As a vegan I was very happy because this soap uses no animal products, and the company doesn’t test on animals. Unfortunately the two most recent purchases I made resulted in a very watered-down soap. I mean, it was so noticeable a change in texture that it leaves little doubt to me that someone, or the company itself, has cut the formula with a significant amount of water. The first time I thought it was a one-off problem, but my most recent purchase was just as watery.
Unfortunately I had to find another vegan brand of body wash, which I have. It’s more expensive, but high-quality. Unfortunately I have decided to permanently switch brands to Ahava.

Watery, leaking, poor packaging

I have ordered this for a few years now and the company must have changed the packaging and formula. The product is now super watery. It used to be more gel-like but the past two or three orders have come as watery goop. Also this is the third time I have received it leaking all over the place This time, as shown in the picture, it is about 1/4th gone. At least this time they sealed it in plastic wrap so it wasn't leaking through the box. After this delivery I looked at some other reviews and found some long-time users are experiencing the same issues. Until the company fixes this I am done with this product. Too bad because I have eczema and it has been a nice smelling body wash that didn't burn my skin. But it's a waste of money to have a product half gone and all water!!
