I ordered 4 or 5 different body washes at the same time because I wanted to stock up and try different brands. Aveeno was one of them and trying it side-by-side with the other four brands and a few that I already have, Aveeno stands out far far beyond all the others combined. I've never used it before and now I know what all the fuss is about. I have normal to dry skin, I'm in my sixties, have tried many body washes over the years and the quality, the luxuriousness of this body wash is hard to understand unless you try it. It is so thick and soft and silky, sudses easily, rinses clean, leaves your skin so soft, smells really fresh, it's like a spa experience. The foam is very dense and lathery and you just want to not even rinse it off it feels so good. My skin is very soft afterwards. It is an excellent ,excellent product. I will continue to buy and an extremely pleased. Now I'm looking into all their facial skin care products. Wish I'd found Aveeno decades ago.

Just going to start this off by saying that I've tried multiple bodywashes over this year that promised better feeling skin with some strange mixture of lemon zest or coconut extract.
My latest sample was the Dove brand, and while it certainly did feel good coming out of the bath, I eventually tired of its overpowering scents even from the original.

Then comes this bodywash. It has a light citrus scent when smelling it from the bottle, but as you wash with it, there's almost no scent at all. And the texture is beautiful, it's more gel like. Almost like slime and it lathers up extremely well.

Once I was out of the bath, there was 0 need to out on lotion. Actually putting on lotion felt overkill, this stuff kept me moisturized long after the fact.

The only, ONLY reason I rated this 4 stars is because my package was leaking when it arrived. Not a lot, probably like a tablespoon or so, but still it was leaking out into the bag.
No problems otherwise.

I live in Colorado and it's sooo dry here, and it doesn't help that I have really dry skin too. Earlier this year I realized that the skin on my back and shoulders was constantly feeling tight, and Aveeno had one of the most hydrating body washes I could find. I used an entire bottle of the Aveeno coconut dry skin relief body wash, and I decided to buy this to restock. I like it because it's very lightly scented, which is good if your skin is sensitive. It's also still really hydrating and pleasant to use. The scent isn't amazing or anything, but the soap does the job so I don't mind!! I recommend this for people who have very dry, sensitive skin like me (but I recommend the coconut one more if your skin isn't that sensitive because it smells a lot nicer and is a little more hydrating). It's even better if you can lock in the moisture with a lotion right after your shower, but even if you can't do that, it still works really well!

I've been hopping around random drugstore and supermarket body washes for a solid 15 years. You name a brand and I've probably idly tried it. I recently had to switch away from st. Ives for an itch issue.

This is literally the best body wash I've ever felt and I'm never moving again if I can help it. This made me buy their matching body lotion, it was so damn good. I pay attention to Aveeno's products now, because of how this wash feels on my skin. I mean, YMMV, but mine is STELLAR. It's silky soft but gets me clean, the lather is pleasing, the scent is mild and lovely, my skin loves me for this, utter HG, would not switch for the most luxurious or exclusive stuff on the market. And they sell it at Walgreens, how?!?

Note: Buy at walgreens, other drugstore, ULTA/sephora if they sell it, or Aveeno's site if they let you. A bunch of reviews complaining about smell are 100% getting counterfeits. Amazon has a huge problem with them.

Leaves a Slimy Film on Skin After Washing

This is the first body wash I've ever dumped out because it stressed me out and made my showers unpleasant.

I kept thinking I did something wrong in the shower when I felt I had to keep re-scrubbing the same part of my skin over and over because it never felt clean. It took me a while to realize it was the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash, leaving some sort of slimy after-effect on my skin.

When I want a soapy body wash for cleaning, I want a body wash, not some sort of lotion hybrid. I felt gross using my towels on my skin after showering because I felt like I was wiping up lotion into my towels. 1/5, will never buy again.

I'm at that place in life where I use a lot more natural products - like really natural. And the Aveeno brand seems to be one step away from all-natural. So I like this product; I especially like it for the price when it's shipped as part of my subscribe and save. However, despite the fact that it leaves my skin feeling nice, there's just the slightest film it seems to leave on my skin. And I'm a total dude so a little film doesn't mean anything other than I'll probably switch to an even more wholistic soap soon. In sum, this is good soap for the price, but for me, it's just not great.
