Purchased for my first aid kit. Purchased both the straight and the curved models -- have used them for various little tasks and they work great. Well made & attractive - easy to use, this size is perfect for my hands and take up very little room.

At best, this will grip jewelry wire for a few seconds before unclamping all by itself. At worst, it clamps so tightly that it cuts the wire instead of just holding one end while I string beads onto the other end. I have another hemostat and have used it for the last 20 years. It works very smoothly and holds 3 or 4 wires at the same time without releasing any. This tool may work well for you but it won't do for my needs.

I purchased these to use tying paracord, and they fit the bill nicely. First, the tips are small and easily push through tightly knotted cord, which is especially helpful when I'm finishing a bracelet or other tie. The tips are a little rough in some spots, and they've caught or abraded the paracord when I haven't been careful. I've been using these pretty often and for some rugged knots, and they still hold up (though they're a little loose at the joint). I haven't had to use a fid (a special paracord needle) since I bought these. Overall, these are a great deal and completely worth the $6 they're charging.

Larger than I thought, but as advertised. You can tell that they are not super high quality, because they get stuck easily, and don't operate very smoothy, but for the price they do what they need to.

Been looking for years for a good pair of forceps for grooming, out of the 2 pair I bought 1 is perfect, closes tightly, opens easily, 2nd one closes tightly, can't open again unless you use two hands! But at least I got 1 good one! 😃

These are (were, someone already walked off with them) great little clamps/tweezers for any sort of work that required a tight fit, sure grip and ease of use. Perfect for crafts where small parts must be installed or held in place. The size is perfect for dropping in shirt pockett when going fishing, they also work great for removeing hooks from small fish so you can return them to the water unharmed.

Potential purchasers should be very clear: this is something solely for hobbyists, not to be confused with a hemostat for medical use. Furthermore, the product doesn't seem sturdy enough to withstand much use.

Fine for gripping little things but don't expect an actual surgical hemostat, this is just a cheap knockoff that comes out of lock position much to easy. But for a handy home tool it is just fine. FYI The real deal would cost 10 times this item.
