Until Next Time..... Tabi
In this story, the author goes deeper into Vivienne’s heritage and I really enjoyed that aspect of the story. I love the connection that Breck and Viv have and how they fight for each other with such conviction. Even when faced with fear, Vive was ready to step in and fight for Breckin.
I also love Elias’ role in the story. Even though he looked after Breckin his entire life, he really developed a close relationship with Vive and took care of her as if she was his own. I was surprised with Hamon’s role as well but was happy with that outcome.
I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and depiction of Vive and Breckin’s relationship that I picked up another story from that author and will be excited to read that story as well! Great addition to Havenwood Falls High, one of my fave’s!
It was SO hard to pick a favorite quote! I'm pretty sure I highlighted half the book. The emotion in this one though jumps out at me every time I see it.
'I blink twice, and his face comes into focus. “Hey, you,” he says with a smile. My bottom lip trembles at the tenderness. “We’ve got this, Viv.”'
This is a continued story about Breckin and Vivienne.
After nearly dying, being stalked by a reaper, and then finding her soulmate, Vivienne has had enough excitement and just wants to have some normalcy and spend time with her boyfriend Breckin. But as the two spend time together, something starts changing in Vivienne and the questions she has had about her past come full forward as they try to figure out what is causing the change.
All Breckin wants is to protect Vivienne and he will disown his own Father to do that. But is his father really the evil angel Breckin thinks he is? Or has he been protecting Breckin and Vivienne from the dangers only he knows exist?
This story was very entertaining and fast read. Can’t wait for the next authors set of characters.
I can't think of anything bad to say about this book. I really did love all of it. It sucked me in and held me until the most wonderful ending. The author weaved a tale filled with complexities and emotions that were all too realistic. The way she captured the discovery of Breckin and Vivienne's feelings for each other as those feelings grew and at times were overpowering for each of them was wonderfully written. The layers of the story as each thing was revealed and at times exposed even more layers was so well done. I especially love that there were no loose ends. All question were answered.
A definite 5 star read. Highly recommended.
The storyline was interesting and had several twists and turns. The characters were amazing. I love Breckin and Vivienne and I wanted their story to continue...and I loved getting to learn more about Elias and Breckin's dad.
I definitely recommend this book!
