Fast paced and full of emotion this book is a must read!
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 4TH in the League of Guardians series and ends in an HEA for Amitiel. Amitiel has spent hundreds of years honing herself into an unfeeling killing machine after the loss of her mate. There is a little backstory regarding a love triangle between Amiltiel, her mate Kolodon and his half-brother Ezekiel. The feelings of devastation going through Amitiel are so well described the reader could feel as if they are the ones who lost a mate. Amitiel is the leader of the angels that go to Earth to destroy the demons. She is not a woman to be played with.
>The plan to rescue a watcher from Hell starts a string of events that affect Amitiel greatly. I really find this series interesting in the portrayal of good and evil. Both sides commit evil acts, but evil doesn’t feel bad about it. The archangel Michael is a disturbingly irritating character, always plotting against Amitiel. The story feels refreshing in the way the angels speak and fight with each other.
>This book can be read as a standalone, but the story will make more sense if the series is read in order. These angels are like a bunch of misfits who try really hard. The story always has some severe consequences with a lot of action with some disturbing torture making the story really move. Kayd, a demon hybrid, is a wonderful alpha character struggling to remember his past. Once Kayd’s story is fully known, a twist happens that is so unexpected.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. The story has everything: romance, suspense, and action.
I really liked Amitiel. She was kick butt in so many different ways but I liked that she seemed real. As a reader I was able to feel her emotions and what she's went through.
I really liked Kayd. He was also easy to relate to and the twists that came along with him were awesome. That's the best way to describe it.
Normally I can figure out twists but the author did an amazing job at having me guess the whole way through. This is good and evil at its finest and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was my first book by this author and I like I said before, I plan to go through and read the others that I have missed and then reread this one and maybe notice the difference. 4 stars #2OCCJD
This is a story of love, loss and saving each other, there is everything you need in a good book, some action and suspense to keep the story interesting and some romance to keep those romantic softies like me happy. The author has great descriptive skills, every detail is painted and you can’t help but see the picture and watch it in your mind like a film, this would even be a great series for someone who doesn’t read very much as it’s such a captivating story that you can’t help but watch it unfold as you read.
Amitiel has spent a millennia without her mate. He disappeared and is presumed dead. The last person to see him on the battlefield was his brother. The same brother who has loved Amitiel for years.
Kayd has lived in a world of pain, tormented for as long as he can remember by Lucifer and his cohorts.
When Amitiel and Kayd come face to face, things begin to unravel from all sides. The angels find that things aren't always as they seem and that evil can be done by those they least expect it. When the line between good and evil becomes blurred, who will come out on top?
I could really feel the pain that Amitiel felt after the lost of her partner. I can completely understand why she turned herself into this hard hearted warrior.
Then Kayd steps in and with one look he wants to protect and maybe also love her (swoon.)
But with a huge twist will love prevail?
This was a great read and I definitely want to to read the rest of Ava Vixion's books.
Good Vs. Evil
Love Vs. Hate
If you love a good adventure, drama, and a love story built in one..... pick up this series.
