Avery K. Tingle was born in Northern California. After a tumultuous childhood, he spent eleven years homeless, wandering across the continental United States. Heavily influenced by mainstream comic books, animation, and video games, he began his writing career with the hopes of advancing the interactive narrative. After achieving mild success as a freelance writer, he turned his hand to creative fiction. Universal Warrior is his attempt to comprehend the world's various religions and mythologies, a story that stretches from the beginning of time to the end of the world. Universal Warrior: The Ring of Asarra is his first novella for the paid market.
In his spare time, he enjoys video games, martial arts, football, and comic books. He is a strong advocate of gender equality and an end to domestic violence.
