From Booklist

Secrets, first crushes, bullying, and tested friendships are at the forefront of Myracle’s fourth title in the Flower Power series, which focuses on a week in the lives of fifth-graders Milla, Katie-Rose, Yaz, and Violet. The first thing to throw the girls off-kilter is new student Hayley: Will she be sucked into the Evil Chicks group or does she have Flower Friend potential? What if making space for Hayley means less room for Yaz? Then there are the boys: Max, Milla’s semiboyfriend, who has asked her on a possible date to the Olive Garden, and Preston, who teases prickly and innocent Katie-Rose. Meanwhile, Yaz, in a somewhat unbelievable plotline, messengers love notes between teachers Ms. Perez and Mr. Emerson while class is in session. While this book is perhaps missing some of the oomph of previous titles, including the fact that the mean-girl angle has fizzled, this is still a shining example of themes and language (parts of the story are told in IMs, e-mails, and chat messages) that will cut straight to the hearts of tween girls. Grades 4-6. --Ann Kelley

God, I love this series so much. Myracle's books are always a joy to read, but these are just so much fun. I'm a little bit sad that the series may be over; I tweeted Myracle to ask about it. But as long as she continues writing books, I'm happy.

Anyway, I love how Myracle brings up real issues that fifth graders have to deal with- the start of relationships (or as much of a relationship you can have at that time- mostly hand-holding), new friend jealousy, figuring out how to keep a big secret and if you should keep it, and so much more. It's interesting to be able to get into each of the four girls' minds and see different perspectives on the some of the same events.

Also, random side note- this book really made me want to have Olive Garden. So beware of that while you're reading.

Overall, this is a fitting end to the series if it is that. If you haven't read this series yet, do it now. It's fantastic. I said this in my review of the second book, it's almost like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but younger and without magical pants.

I started reading these books 2 years ago when I was in fifth grade. Now I'm in seventh grade and they (the books) still make me laugh and giggle! They are truly books I would say read it for any girl who just needs a good, happy, and Awesome book to read! BUT READ THE SERIES IN ORDER OR IT WON'T MAKE ANY SCENE!!!!!!!!

Nothing much to say about this one. Same formula as the other books in the series, although some parts felt off, much like the Flower friendships themselves. I'm still mostly just glad this series exists to expose children to diverse human beings, like the ones they will encounter every single day of their lives. (Also, best Doctor Who references I've ever seen. Let's talk about exposing kids to awesome things...)

I saw another review that mentioned this may be the last book in the series. Color me depressed! This is the best contemporary series out there for kids, what gives? If that's the case, my review needs to be altered, because this is NOT a fitting finale for the flower girls. We're left with a bunch of loose ends and still so much room for character growth. I really hope there's more.

i loved the book it was great the other books were also awesome. I think that this book is very interesting and that this book would always be good to read when bored. I honestly recommend this to anyone, really it is great! The 4 friends are great they stick together they always help everyone and they are super nice, they are so fantabulous that they seem like fake people and as if they couldn't exist ever in this whole world. This book is truly award winning. If anyone asked me for some book titles that are great this would always be on my list. I'm just amazed with this author! Always read this book!!!

I loved Awesome Blossom because it seemed so real. Every thing that happened could happen in real life and it makes it seem, to me at least, that Camilla, Katie-Rose, Yasaman and Violetare real and will continue to go on.

Over all it was a pretty good book. It was really easy to read. Spoiler Alert: (for the people who've read the first three books) Katie-Rose kisses Preston at the end of the book, Max asked Mills out on date, Violet makes friends with the new girl Hayley, and Yaz read a love letter in between Mr. Emerson and Ms. Perez. So uh ya it was good book.

The book was great . I Love the part where they got Hayley away from the Evil Chicks. I just hope they can get Elena away from them. But other than that the book was great.
