This made connecting to my 2014 toyota camry a breeze! The ground cable should be installed on something like the stereo chassis or car chassis to avoid engine whine! I had it tapped in to the ground on the stereo harness and it would hissing and whining. This problem will only occur if you're using the AUX inputs.

Bought it without knowing u need another part to make it work correctly but found a YouTube video that showed me that u can work around without the module. The connector that comes in this package is a very useful piece to splice into your headunit if your headunit has the two swc wire to tap into

This little harness kept every steering wheel control working with a pioneer AVH2550NEX I tried hooking up the
Axxess box without this add on harness first and I only had half of my steering wheel controls working
I was using there web site looking for different PIN numbers of the cars original harness. But when plugged this in EASY AS HECK. And pushed reset on box AGAIN this time EVERY button on my wheel worked just like it did originally. Great buy

I bought a 2011 Lexus 200CT in early 2012, but opted not to buy the manufacturer's GPS unit. At the time, Axxess (or anyone) didn't have any product that would work to connect my steering wheel control buttons and the after market Pioneer unit.

They suggested I call back in a year to see if a product had been made. My installers (Car Toys) said the same thing. It was a matter of supply & demand. Newer Lexus owners didn't usually put in after market stuff.

I patiently waited a year, then made the same inquiries. Same answers, but my Car Toys installer recommended looking up a Lexus car owner forum. There, I found a guy who had used this product + the Metra ASWC-1 to success! Turns out it is a Toyota product. But Lexus/Toyota are extremely compatible on many things.

I purchased the two parts, made an appointment with my Car Toys guy and in about an hour, !Viola! I had steering wheel control of many audio functions! Not 100% control, but can control mute, volume, mode control, radio station change, and song/album change. I'm VERY happy!

Also happy with Amazon's price and delivery service!

Poor quality. Didn't contain a speed sense pin/wire even though this is supposed to be compatible with the 2015 Prius. Wires came loose from their t-connections just in normal handling. Which I fixed myself by solidifying the connections with my own wire and crimp caps. But the audio aux out still doesn't work. Since I have no other options and they won't let me return it (even though I bought it 2 weeks ago), I guess I have to try buying another and hope for the best.

Probably best to avoid this one.

The instructions were not great, but a web search for a connector schematic solved that. I did not use tech support, so that rating is neutral.

This works perfectly on my 2012 Toyota Rav4! Just hook the black ground wire to another black wire, and the red 12v accessory wire to another red wire and you are good to go! Remember, you need the axxess aswc-1 for this to work!

Worked on a 2012 Rav4 Sport with a Kenwood DDX372BT.. The AUX input doesn't work but this is an issue with the Kenwood unit.
