About Ayesha V. Dwyer
Witty, jovial, honest and generous are all words to describe Ayesha Victoria Dwyer. She has a vivid imagination which enhances her love of storytelling. The essence of Sista Me closely resembles the life of Ayesha. Just like the character, she had a strong relationship with her grandfather. Growing up, Ayesha would oftentimes find herself in sticky situations. It was the tutelage of her grandfather that frequently rescued her when she'd find herself in a pickle. Married to a descendant of Jamaican heritage, Ayesha's appreciation for the culture is reflected throughout the stories: Sista Me - Every Mikkel Make a Mukkel and Sista Me and Friends - A Rock and a Hard Place. Ayesha's passion has always been to inspire the lives of children. She draws on her creativity to foster happy memories and write stories children will enjoy for many generations.
